Course Name PE 1 Self-testing Activities
Course Credits 2 units
Course Description This course provides the students with knowledge and understanding of the different activities in physical fitness and gymnastic programs
comprising the different components such as power, organic vigor, endurance, strength flexibility, speed, balance and desirable values.
Contact Hours/ week 2 hours
Prerequisite None
At the end of the semester, the students must have:
Course Objectives 1. Relate the objectives of the course to the VMGO of ZMC.
COGNITVE 2. Demonstrate understanding on the meaning and objectives of physical education to support life-long leaning.
3. Demonstrate physical efficiency to meet physical emergencies and maintain a lifelong health and fitness.

4. Demonstrate deep understanding on Gymnastics and be able to apply the acquired skills on gymnastics program.
AFFECTIVE 5. Describe the role of gymnastics in the development of one’s physical fitness.
6. Exhibit holistic development in the physical, emotional, social and mental aspects to be globally competent individuals that
contribute to the development of the community.
