Summary
Svetla is an experienced FinTech strategist and product manager across three corporate innovation
labs for large financial services organizations. She was a founding member and primary business
analyst of the S&P Global Innovation Lab, lead of the Innovation Lab of APG Asset Management,
and is now a part of Grant Thornton’s FinTech innovation solutioning initiative, where she focuses
on sustainable investing and digital transformation efforts for the Asset Management vertical.
Svetla’s expertise and interests revolve around the use of unstructured and alternative data to enable
investment decisions through advanced analytics techniques such as Artificial Intelligence and
Natural Language Processing.

Svetla holds a BA in Economics from Adelphi University’s Honors College, a MA in Climate and
Society from Columbia University, where she was also a Research Fellow at the Earth Institute, and
an Executive MBA from The Wharton School with a major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She is
also a Money 20/20 Europe 2019 Rise Up Academy alumna.
