System of Play The latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed.
Mode ofTournament Total 7 rounds shall be played
Time Central 90 minutes each + 30 seconds per move from move him . Default time is 15 minutes,
Direct Encounter, Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz, Sonneborn-Berger, and number of wins
Tie break (forfeit included) tiebreak systems will lee applied. In case of tie, prizes will not be
shared, If still there is a tie, Armageddon will be applied.

AICF registration is compulsory. AICF Registration fee is Rs. 250}- for the year
2019 — 2020. It will be accepted only through online, Players/Arbiters registration
should be done well before the start of the event. New entrants to the field of chess
are informed that player's registration is mandatory and it should be done well

For fresh AICE registration, players are requested to keep their scanned passport
size photograph and birth certificate and a valid email address (unique and not
provided to fide for another player/arbiter) ready before the registration process.

Only passport size (less than 1 MB) photographs in jpeg format should be uploaded,
TNSCA Player TNSCA registration is compulsory for all Tamil Nadu players. TNSCA Registration fee
Registration is Rs. 150/— for the year 2019 - 2020. Players registering with TNSCA should submit
duly filled and signed TNSCA Players Registration form along with a copy of their
Date of Birth certificate and one passport size photograph.Those who have already
paid the same must attachi show the proof for that, failing which they will have to
pay the registration fee.
VDCA Registration Virudhunagar DCA registration is compulsory for Virudhunagar District players.
The registration fee RSSOF for the year 2019 — 20.
Protests Protests if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing with
protest fee of Rs.500/- within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident to the
appeals committee. The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld,
Appeals Committee Before the commencement of the Tournament, appeals committee will be formed
from the senior participants present at the players meeting.The appeals committee
decisions will be final and binding on all players concerned.
Withdrawals A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing the chief arbiter in
writing.
Last date Entries close at 6.00 PM on 28.07.2019.

Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Matric HSS reserve the right to Tadmit/reject any entry
without assigning any reason there of.

Wrist watches ,AICF has bannecl the wrist watches while playing in FIDE Rated events. Players are
instructed not to wear wrist watches while playing. Mobiles, if brought to the hall,
must be kept in a separate bag in switch off modeJflolating the rule in both cases
will lead to the loss of the game.
