Though the language is a poor substitute for the sentiments , yet there is no way out to
recover it for expressing my profound gratitude , indebtedness and sincere regards to BVU
Amplify Mindware DITM, Pune for giving me this platform from where I could pursue this
summer internship.
A successful project can never be prepared by the single effort of the person to whom project
is assigned, but it also demand the help and guardianship of some conversant person who
helped the undersigned actively or passively in the completion of successful project.
My sincere thanks go to Mr. P K DUTTA, (ASM EMAMI COMPAN) for being my
company guide. It was under their constant guidance that I have been able to complete my
project and make it a true learning experience.

“SALES AND DISTRIBUTION CHECK IN EMAMI COMPANY LIMITED” for the partial
fulfillment of the requirement for the award of PGDM Degree.

This report is the sincere efforts to reveal the expression of my experience, observation and
study during 45 DAYS of Industrial Training undergone as a part of my “PGDM” curriculum
from “AMPLIFY MINDWARE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & INFORMATION
TCHNOLOGY”PUNE. This industrial training at EMAMI COMPANY LTD ., Ranchi, in
the field of marketing has helped me to gain practical knowledge and information by actually
being a part of the corporate world for 45 DAYS.

As a part of my study (PGDM) I have to undergo training in any reputed company. I got an
opportunity to do my training in Emami company ltd. During the training period, I came
across many new things, as this sector was totally new to me. I started my project in sales and
distribution check. I devoted my initial period of training in knowing about the product and
its specification. Then I moved on to the working area of the company, to know which type
of service the company is providing to its customers, who are the Customers of emami
company Ltd. & who are the main Competitors of emami company limited.

Project titled “SALES AND DISTRIBUTION CHECK OF NAVRATNA OIL WITH


COMPETITIORS ” being carried out for EMAMI COMPANY LTD.

EMAMI COMPANY LTD operates in various cosmetics & ayurved products like, Novratna
oil ,Sona chandi chyawanpras,Boroplus,fast relief Emami Hair life Fiar and handsome
Emami cold crem etc.

According to the study of the markets, it is being observed that markets are doing well in
FMCG SECTOR. In near future a proper Emami company planning is required to target to
rural market in potential customer

In this project the great emphasis is given to the Retailers’s mind in respect to different
products.The needs and wants of the customers taken into consideration.

I hope EMAMI COMPANY,RANCHI will recognize this as well as take more references
from this project report.
The main objective of this project is to know the increase the sales of products.
