FAQs

Q: Can I check in at Diamond Hotel anytime?



A: No. Check in starts at 5:30 PM every Saturday at the Ruby Room, 2nd Floor, Diamond
Hotel Manila.

Q: Can I request for an early check-in?



A: No. The Hotel does not guarantee early check-ins because it is still subject to availability.
Standard check in time (2:00 PM) will apply for those who will not be joining the Last Minute
Lecture and/or Mass at San Beda but please inform us of such ahead of time (three [3] days
before every Saturday) so that we can also make the necessary arrangements. You can relay
such information to the Hotel Operations 2019 Viber account @ 09156751564.

Q: Can I request someone to check in for me?



A: Yes. Proxy check in is allowed. Please notify the committee thru the Hotel Operations
2019 Viber account provided above three (3) days before every Saturday. Also, please
provide an authorization letter together with a photocopy of your ID.

Q: Will transportation be provided in going to Diamond Hotel?



A: Yes. Buses will be stationed at San Beda University every Saturday. The bus leaves after the
last minute lecture and mass.

Q: I booked for a single room and I wish to change it into a double room. Can I have it changed?
A: No. Room requests were communicated to the Diamond Hotel as early as August, no
change of room is permitted later that period.

Q: Centralized Bar Operations provided me a room already. Can I have it changed?



A: Once checked-in, the Centralized Bar Operations will not allow any changes or similar
changes, unless the request for change of room is reasonable. Room assignment is pre-
arranged.

Q: Can I request for an additional mattress? A: Yes, but for an additional fee.

Q: Will parking space be provided?



A: No. Due to scarcity of parking spaces, the Centralized Bar Operations and Diamond
Hotel will not provide parking spaces. No reservations will be allowed. The Valet Parking
System of the hotel may be availed of but the Centralized Bar Operations will not be liable for
any arrangement between the bar takers and the hotel.

Q: Will dinner be provided?



A: Yes. Packed dinners will be distributed every Saturday at the check-in area, Ruby Room
Function Hall, 2nd Floor. Please claim it after checking-in.
For our food options, we are still waiting for the choices the Logistics Committee will provide
us. We will disseminate Google Forms for you to fill out once choices are communicated to us
and it will also include your preferred wake up time.

Q: Will breakfast be provided?

A: Yes. A Single Room will get 2 complimentary breakfast coupons; Double Room will have 2
coupons; Triple Room will get 3 coupons.

Q: What time will breakfast be served?



A: Breakfast will be served every 3:00 AM onwards at the Ballroom Hall.

Q: Where can I communicate my requests during my stay at the Diamond Hotel?



A: You can communicate your requests via text message or Viber @ 09156751564.

Kindly indicate your Name (Last Name, First Name) and Hotel Room Number.

You can also place your requests at the Hotel Operations Requests and Inquiry Booth at
the check-in area.

Q: What is the cut off time for making requests?



A: All requests must be communicated before 10:00 PM. The person in charge has the
discretion to decline your request if he finds it not feasible.

Please be wary of the surrounding establishments for the availability of your requests. Further,
for the safety of our volunteers, please be considerate of the requests especially at night time. We
will do our best to make you comfortable.

Q: Where can I deposit my baggage?



A: Baggages shall be deposited at the LSG booth in front of the breakfast buffet area every
Sunday morning.

Q: Where can I surrender my keycard after use?



A: Please surrender your keycards at the Centralized Bar Operations booth in front of the
breakfast area every Sunday morning.

Q: What mode of transportation will be provided in going to UST?



A: Buses courtesy of Diamond Hotel will transport the bar takers from the hotel to the testing
center. Buses leave at 5:00 AM every Sunday at the hotel. Kindly check your bus number in
the brown envelope of your LMTs.

All room requests and floor requests were noted but not guaranteed.

Please be mindful that the Law Student Government will take over the bar assistance every
Sunday. All queries then must be communicated to them once you leave the Diamond
Hotel.
