GLIMPSE

A couple of months ago, I was in the room wherein every moment I take, it feels like heaven. I
was wondering where am I. Is it a dream? Then, someone whispered to me no, we’re here at Hytec
Power Inc., 2 T. Cruz Street, Cruzville Subdivision, Zabarte Road, Quezon City, T. Cruz, Novaliches,
Quezon City, Metro Manila, owned and operated by Engr. Eric Jude S. Soliman, the company’s
president.
Hytec Power Inc(HPI) is a company that offers a lot of equipments in both academe and
industry. A 100% Filipino-owned company founded by Engr. Eric Jude S. Soliman in 1994. It is
geared towards being the trendsetter, market leader and pioneer in providing total solutions to the
industry and academe sectors.Their services mirror the world-leading technologies from Europe,
U.S.A., Spain, China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia that cater their clients with the best quality
products and after-sales services and support.
During my immersion there at HPI I had able to see and experience the real workplace industry.
I learn that as an employee or worker, we must be punctual. We must be flexible in any working
environment.
I also find the answer why workers are demanding for a higher salary, because inside the
company there is no easy level. The difficulty is always set at the highest level and as a worker, we
should conquer and endure in order for us get paid or earn money for our family.
Speaking of family, it is also difficult to be far apart from your family while working. After an 8
hours working inside the company, I always have the thoughts that I am going home expecting my
mom and dad was there but it is just a boarding house which there’s no mom and dad.
I know this is just a simple glimpse of my future and thanks because through this working
immersion, I am now aware on what and who am I in the next 10 years of my existence.
Working there in HPI is one of the unforgettable scenario in my life. I learned a lot of things
that I can apply on my near future.
Lastly, completing the 80 hours working immersion at Hytec Power Inc., I can truly say that
their company is a “Reliable Partner and Solution Provider”.
 A Narrative Report on Work Immersion at Hytec Power Inc.

Work Immersion is one of the most essential requirement before you exit your Senior High
School year. An eighty-hour (80hrs) is needed in order to complete this requirement.
