Introduction
As students, we are always on the go, especially with our busy schedules. There will be

times when we get too busy and do not have enough time to sit down in a restaurant and wait for

a couple of minutes for the food to be prepared. So, having fast-food restaurants in Taft is very

convenient for students, making this one of the reasons why students prefer fast-food chains over

regular restaurants. It does not only save time, but it is also considered to be more affordable and

convenient.

One of the things Taft is known for is the wide range of restaurants for students to choose

from. Currently, there are 17 restaurants in Taft around the area and our group primarily focused

on the top five fast-food restaurants such as KFC, McDonald's, Jollibee, Bonchon and Burger King

due to the fact that students go for fast-food restaurants since it is inexpensive and convenient.

According to the Maslow hierarchy of needs, the top five fast-food restaurants satisfy the

physiological needs which are the essential needs of any person. The aim of this paper is to find

out which fast-food restaurants do DLSU students prefer the most. This research was conducted

for the benefit of fast food lovers.

Other additional information included in this research paper includes the perception of

college students, specifically DLSU students when it comes to their eating habits with fast food.

A big amount of fast-food consumption can lead to health risks, an increased body max index, and

weight gain wherein teenagers and young adults nowadays are very particular about this.

Objectives
With over 17 restaurants in Taft, the group wants to find out the best fast food restaurant

around Taft considering factors like food preferences and ambiance. The researchers focused on

the top five fast-food

The researchers' initial target was to obtain more than 50 respondents, with the help of the

professor, the group was able to obtain 56 respondents, mainly from CPROBS K31 and K32.
