My name is Andriy Namniyek and I am applying for the 3D Graphic Artist position at Charpstar. I am a 26 year old architect who is looking
for a change in career. After working for some years in architecture I realised that I am more passionate about 3D art than architecture. That’s
when I found your company and thought to myself:

“This is where I will fit!”

I play computer games. A lot! They have been part of my life since I can remember myself. If I were to guess, I would say that I played my
first videogame when I was 6/7 years old and never stopped playing since. With time I also grew interested in how those things were made: 3D
art, animation, user interaction, etc... so I started learning those things by myself during my university degree. As a result of that, now I work very
efficiently in a broad range of software relevant for this position: AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Sketchup, Maya, Photoshop, etc..
During university, I made and presented my Masters thesis in VR instead of using only the “plain” 2D graphics. I developed a basic workflow
whick allowed me to start from a 2D CAD file, make a 3D model out of it and then import it into Unreal Engine 4 where later, with the help of
a VR headset (HTC VIVE), the user could explore the project from within. In that process I learned the basic mechanics of UE4.
Right now, as a side project I am working on a small videogame in UE4 which is currently helping me to develop even further my Maya
and UE4 skills.
I have an extremely curious mind and a very creative way of thinking. I possess a vivid imagination, which constantly brings me new ideas,
but when it comes to problem solving I am utterly pragmatic and practical. I am not afraid of taking risks nor chances. Without them it is im-
possible to succeed. The most important thing about myself is my attitude towards new challenges. I think that not being afraid to try and fail
as well as being willing and even desirous to learn more and more in the process is essential.

As an architect, I believe that my skills will be a major asset for your company and I really hope that you consider my application.

All I need is a chance to demonstrate my skills, creativity and passion.
