“Bali”s Premier Weekly Newspaper. It's been a weird week in the news, lots of
things happening with the Yanky dollars seeming to be the talk of the town. I
find it amazing that the Australian dollar has grown so strong, it makes me
proud and I hope we power on for a while yet. I ask you all straight up, why is it
stronger??? Is it our huge mining resources?? Our first female prime
minister?? Or is it just our turn to dominate the western world currency. At any
rate it is a damn good time to buy yourself a property up here with such a

This week we got an email from a fellow that had a laptop computer go missing. His letter is as follows:

I am writing this letter to express my sincere thanks to everybody involved in the recent recovery of
my lap top computer. In early March this year I was the unfortunate victim of a burglary, in which my new lap
top was taken from my house, this was an unfortunate event probably due to my having a few too many
bintangs in the evening, which resulted in my forgetting to lock the door, but that's another story…… this also
probably explains why I didn't actually report the incident to the police ,as I didn't at the time think that I would
ever see it again….. HOW WRONG I COULD BE!!!.
In the beginning of July some 4 months later, I received a visit from two policemen from the local
station on Jl Raya Tuban, with my heart in my mouth, thinking of perhaps another night of too many bintangs,
I let them in, to my complete surprise and pleasure they informed me that they had recovered my lap top, and
