The long term success of any organization depends on how well the organization is equipped with right
candidates. Recruitment and hiring is the most important aspect of any organization not only recruitment
and hiring but attracting and retaining is equally essential for an organization. The organization that does it
effectively and efficiently is successful in the long run .Talent acquisition is not only about filling in the
job vacancies but also focusing on the aspect that fulfills the specific goals and having such candidates
who can help in sustaining the business .Talent acquisition lowers the risk in an organization. So the
people matters talent acquisition awards was organized so as to reward such organizations that has
managed to do it in the best way

Infosys received the award for best in campus recruitment in India as well as U.S .Campus recruitment is
an effective way of inviting fresh talent into the organization, it reduces time and efforts of the company
and the company also has wide choice of candidates. The strategy that Infosys applied in India and US
made the best in campus recruitment. In USA it had to start from scratch it, decided to hire the local talent
and the goal was to hire 2000 candidates where as is in India the goal was to attract the best talent and
digitization of complete hiring process was done, promotions were done benefits were conveyed, student
networking was prioritized in USA. In India so as to digitize the process it had launched an app InfyEQ
and online training and certification app that generated very positive results for the organization and thus
making it a huge success in gender diversity as well as in acquiring talent.

ANZ one of the largest bank in the world with over 7000 employees in India. There had been no change
in the recruitment technology so the organization decided to redesign it's model of talent acquisition and
on boarding process. It focused on enhancing the experience at all three candidates stage that is
assessment, interview and on boarding so it launched a new program called NWOW (new way of
working) .Gender neutral software was implemented ,AI powered video interviews and feedbacks could
be given using NPS methodology after each round. There was introduction of e-offer letters, e offer
acceptance etc. All these factors improved the quality of hire and as for the future there are plans to
gamify some aspects of the process and collect richer Insight

PNB MetLife received the award for best in diversity and inclusion. It is the top 10 private life insurance
companies in India with over 10000 employees, it targeted on creating a culture of diversity at various
levels. Diversity is very important in an organization because it helps in generating more creative ideas
and that may help the organisation to do better .Though more women were hired in the entry level still the
gender ratio couldn’t be maintained because they left to explore more opportunities so in order to have
more women workforce it decided to rehire the female alumini .The goal was to increase the
representation of women across middle and senior levels so former employees were contacted efforts
were made such as altering of referral programs as a result women joined back and currently 14% of
supervisory leaders are women
4.BEST IN EMPLOYER BRANDING AWARDS

Cybage received the award for best in employee branding .It’s an technology Consulting organization
with over 6000 skilled employees since there has been emergence of new technologies therefore it has
created more competitive environment in tech industry. So the company decided to redesign the hiring
process and decided to develop a strong employer brand .There were certain initiatives taken by cybage
such as policies were redefined which was interpreted as win-win strategy for both employee and
organization .Investments were made in internal IT systems and as a result it has created diversity within
the organization with over 32% women that is the highest in the industry and there by creating positive
results for the company
5.BEST IN RECRUITMENT TECHNOLOGY AND ANALYTICS
AWARD

Bajaj Allianz received the award for best in recruitment technology and analytics .Bajaj Allianz has
workforce of over 10,000 employees and is rapidly expanding in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities however it is
facing some problem because of multiple talent acquisition .It is difficult to interview each and every
person face to face because of different experiences of candidate and lack of ATS made it even more
challenging for the company so it decided to launch the first virtual employee thereby making a smart
move .The features included robotic video interview, evaluation of CV was done in lesser time gamified
employee referral etc. Though it was challenging still the company managed to do it smartly the impact
was such that applications doubled in hiring cost also reduced.
