一、 Overview
SX-2 type programmable computer controller is a special new controller of SX series
fully automatic rinshing machine. The computer is composed by international newest
micro-controller, with features of complete functions, reliable, easy using, friendly interface,
etc.
SX-2 controller uses advanced program scheduler programme mode. Programmable
cycle ups to 36 sets(１#—３６#）.Computers preload 30 sets cycle according to SX series
mechanical properties and users’ long time practice experience. It has commonly used,
hotel, hospital, restaurant, and general. Users can free choose according to situation,
clothing texture and color, and pollution degree. The system supports shortcuts mode. It is
convient for users by pressing a key to start any automatic program. Allow users online set,
alter and rewrite 30 sets of cycle in computer. Writing programs keep for 10 years more.
This controller adds rich contents with the help of the pictures. It is more convient for
users to operate system.
The controller at the factory can be preset for variable frequency/relay,
compartment/single feeding material and so on, used to connect to different systems.
Providing as many as dozens of parameter settings to users with flexible installation
environment.
This controller uses 320 x 240 large LCD screen. Display content use multilevel
menu scheduling, much windows graphic interface. The operator can directly operate
according to the monitor hint.
System offer manual and automatic to ensure flexibility and reliability. Computer
design has a comprehensive interlock protection function to effectively prevent the user's
illegal operation of the damage of the washing machine.
This controller adds the function of input and output single step test, which test each
input and output functions.
The controller provides a robust fault detection function that tests all kinds of fault
anytime. When the fault occurs, the computer can automatically deal according to the type
of fault and shows reason and elimination method of problem.
This controller provides all the liquid level input analog display. Water level in the
laundry basket can be directly converted to cm water column height and displayed in the
form of light directly. System at the same time also provide progress display light and
temperature display light. Greatly improving the visual display。

way liquid level input. Providing manual and automatic mode and operation
programming mode.

The computer provides 23 operation keys. Each time a key is pressed with beep signal. The
definition of the key as below:：

1． 【Washing】 Key：click this Button，Lock action and began to wash standard，Then，

Switch to gentle wash，Then，Switched to one-way wash，Then，Stop washing。One cycle。

2. 【Hot water】 key：Click this Button，Lock action and on or off the hot water valve at
the same time。

3. 【Cool water】 key：click this Button，Lock action and on or off the Cool water
valve at the same time。

4. 【Heating】 key：click this Button，Lock action, at the same time temperature don’t
reach set temperature, water in the drum，heating。 Press again，stop。

5. 【Liquid level】key：you press to choose one of them "low level", "level", "high level","
Overflow liquid level”.( step into the key).

6. 【drainage 1、drainage 2】key：Lock action and at the same time on or off corresponding
drain valve, close all above operation.

7. 【High Speed dry】key：Click this button, Lock action at the same time perform high
speed dry operation, press again, then stop. "Manual", the liquid level below the lowest level of
dehydration, will not be dehydrated; The "automatic", automatic adding water to the lowest level of
dehydration; can’t press “Medium speed dry" or "high speed dry" when automatic operation.

8. 【Soap】key：Lock action at the same time on or off the soap valve (self-locking)。

9. 【 Bleaching 】 key ： Lock action at the same time on or off bleach valve
(self-locking).

10. 【Sizing】key：Lock action and at the same time the on or off sizing valve

(Self-locking）。

11. 【 Soft 】 key ： Lock action at the same time on or off softening valve

to implement the selected procedures, If unlocked, the automatically lock; The
program choice is to use《↑》、《↓》、 《+》、《-》。

13. 【Loose】 key: When the "door open" status, press the key, execute take
clothes operation, press again, then stop, also press "stop" to stop taking clothes.

14. 【 Move up 】 key: Press the two key, can choose set up the

project；match with《+》、《-》when run the program. Can adjust automatically

procedures, steps, set temperature, liquid level, program running time, etc.
Initialization on the computer, press "down" button for 3 seconds, system into
parameter setting state, at this time can modify system parameters, press
"programming" to save, After finishing. Press the "stop" key to exit.
When the computer power initialization, press 【▼】key three seconds, the
system enters the parameter setting state, then you can modify the system
parameters, set up by [RUN] to save, press [STOP] key to exit.
In the operation screen, the cursor on the category ( the cursor on the first
item) when you press 【▲】key three seconds, the system enters the programming
mode, then you can modify the system parameters, set up by the [RUN] to save,
press [Stop] key to exit without saving.

15. 【 add reduce】key: press the two key, you can adjust the set
value of the project；match with《↑》、《↓》when running programme, can adjust
automatically procedures, steps, set temperature, liquid level, program running time,
etc.

16. 【stop】key: In the state of "manual", if press this button, then stop the
current operation;
In the state of "automatic", if press this button, then stop the currently running
program;
In the state of "take the clothes", if press this button, to stop taking operation;
In "the lock off" state, if press this key, open the door;

Delay time 15 seconds，users enter“Set user parameter status”according to LCD display or The fourth
chapter: the parameter setting and modification，reset the machine models. Press "stop" 3 seconds to
exit computer go into working status.

If don’t set the system parameter, delay 15 seconds, the computer into the working state, the LCD

If abnormal situation is found when computer in self-inspection, thus will warning. Liquid display will
appear troubleshooting tips. See chapter 6” eliminate faults”.

2. Manual operation
After power on, close the door, then enter the "lock" status, press any key to enter “manual” status
and automatically locked: "Hot water", "cool water", "washing", "heat", "drainage 1", "drainage 2",
"medium", "high", "soap", "white" and "sizing", "soft" and "acid".
At the status of “manual”, press the "stop" key to return to the "lock off" status, press the "stop"
button once again and open the door. Then, open the door, into the "door open" status. In "manual"
operation, can use the《↑》、《↓》、《+》、《-》select and modify time, manual timing.

3. Run automatically
Use 《↑》、《↓》、《+》、《-》select programme, in the "lock" or "locked off" status, press "run"
key, press the "run" key, state of "automatic" and automatically locked, perform the automatic program
of choice. If there are any failures, the computer will automatically stop and alarm. Please refer to
chapter 5 [trouble] to restart the machine after removing troubleshooting.
Auto running ends, computer will ring for 1 minute, automatically entered into "the lock off" state,
also can press the "stop" key to stop ringing.
Before the automatic procedure ends, if the door open, there will be alarm.
Note: in the "automatic" state, can still manual all legal key. In the "automatic" state, press the "stop"
key to return to the "lock off" status, press the "stop" once again and open the lock, Then, opening the
door. Into the "door open" status

 If you want to change the current state of time, temperature, liquid level. Use《↑》、《↓》、《+》、
《-》select and modify their values.\

4. Take the clothes operation

In the "door open" status, press "take the clothes" one time into a state of "take", began to take the
clothes, press "take the clothes" button again, stop taking clothes. return to the "door open" status, also
can press "stop" to stop.

三、Programming Guide

㈠、 Programming instructions
1、 Homework operation table
Cycle and scheduling adopts advanced block scheduling method. Make the user program is not easy to
wrong operation order. Master the operation simply, Show very intuitive. Programming is more flexible.
Each user schedules six procedures section n one cycle (Early washing - deal with 2). Each program
section has five programmable operation choices. Each job has its own default value and the upper
limit. The specific operartion are shown in table 1

2、 Precautions
Each non empty program segments need at least one operations. Most can be incorporated into 5
operations. During running, 5 operation follow watering, charging, heating, washing, dehydration
sequence scheduling. Generally speaking, each segment must have water operation, Otherwise it
might produce fault operation sequence. Because the heating on dry clothes are harmful. And it is
meaningless for reversing dry clothes. Pls users pay attention to this point. In addition, periodic
classification method, naming cycle number of this computer do not limit the cycleonly used for
the clothes. As long as the user thought that job suited to the needs, can be arbitrary scheduling
using.
3、 The basic principles of programming
⑴、Program settings
Generally speaking, You need to set a program section if clothes washing need to change a kind
of water, water level, washing time, material or dehydration. Program segment name should be
consistent with the actual operation. In operation after the computer can display the corresponding
state.
⑵、Washing mode
Standard: for conventional clothes washing.
Gentle washing: washing silk fabric, wool clothing, small wear washing.
Unidirectional washing: for heavy dirt. things.
⑶、Washing time
Washing time indicates that effective washing time when water added to the set water level, water
temperature added to the set temperature(If have the heating operation). Washing time is longer,
the washing effect is better.
⑷、Adding water method
Add cold water: For clean washing or the initial cleaning heating without heating.
Heating water: for all kinds of washing required heating.

Hot water: for all kinds of washing with higher temperature, can reduce the steam consumption.
⑸、Water level set
Low water level: apply to the program segment feeding, can improve the concentration of cleaning
agent.
Middle level: the early wash.
High water: suitable for washing, can improve the effect of clearance.
Low, the actual value of the high water level abides by setting parameter on setting screen.
⑹、Water temperature setting
Generally speaking, the higher the temperature set, the better washing effect. Usually the water
temperature increase each 10 ℃ , the washing effect can be doubled. But too high water
temperature will increase thewear of the steam consumption and equipment. And may cause
damage to the clothes. Pls users pay more attention.. Temperature is reduced to below 30 ℃
without heating

1. The computer provision that high dehydration only appear at the end of program cycle. After
this operation will not be scheduling.

（二）．The writing and modification of the program

Through the 【▲】、【▼】【+】、【-】key to select the step and each step of running time,
level, temperature, and then select the function keys need to run to complete the preparation of a
step.
Edited after the current step, press the【▲】、【▼】【+】、【-】 key to select the next step,
the preparation of the next step, as until the final step, also press the【▲】、【▼】【+】、【-】
key to skip to the last step, consult the program.
In the "Programmed" state, press the "stop" three seconds, to delete all the current program.
In the "Programmed" state, press the "Run" three seconds, the current program is initialized to
common categories - standard procedure 1
Note: when you select level, add water step only reach the selected level at a set time before
starting the countdown;
When you select the level that is not set to 0 level, add water according to the set actual
operation step.

parameters to avoid affect normal operation of the machine.

Delay 15 seconds, press [↓]will enter the "user setting" status as Figure 5, select setting
item through pressing【▲】and【▼】key, press【programming】enter the project, modify the
parameter value through pressing 【+】and 【—】,press【RUN】enter next parameter setting
after completing modification, save fixed parameters, press【stop】give up fixed parameters and
exit the parameter setting function. Enter the normal washing operation.

五、Troubleshooting and maintenance
（一）.Troubleshooting tips image description
The system provides complete fault detection function. All kinds real-time detectionon the
washing machine. When fault occurs, the computer can automatically processed according to
the type of fault. And display the fault causes and elimination methods. The user can repair
according to the computer tips. The computer processing fault is divided into two types:
1. Serious fault: Computer will clear all output and alarm. Users press [stop] button to
exit to clear the fault alarm.。
2. Motor overload fault: Motor overload or inverter fault. The system will display
warning screen at alarm window and shut down the whole output as figure 5.。
