In Benefit Value Analysis we calculated the weighing factors and individual benefit
scores.
Based on these scores we came to conclusion of a city. And the city which best fills
all these criteria was Munich which had highest weighing factor and benefit value
score.
And after location selection we prepared E-bike production morphology for
manufacturing the the E-bike. In the morphology selection we chose make to stock
manufacturer.
Product Development
The focus of our product is based on the weight of the product and how the riding
experience can be comfortable. These features were implemented in the HOQ (House
Requirements, with specific targets set to achieve the requirements. ABC analysis is a
categories, A, B, and C, in descending value. A has the highest value items, B is lower
value than A, and C has the lowest value. We have collected data of B-001,003…024.
Clustering is the task of grouping a set of objects in such a way that objects in the same
group (called a cluster) are more similar (in some sense) to each other than to those in
other groups (clusters). It is a main task of exploratory data mining, and a common
technique for statistical data analysis, used in many fields, including machine learning,
businesses working together in a region. In a perfect world, clusters would just exist
without much effort. But the truth is it takes a very focused and strategic approach to
bring companies and organizations from the value chain together to form partnerships
for funding, research and revenue opportunities. Clusters also provide “strength in
numbers” and the ability to speak with one voice when it’s time to tackle business,
regulatory and policy issues that impact your industry. This is the brief analysis of
Clustering.
Materials
With Aluminum as our material, we chose Aluminum 7005 as the material for the frame
and the fork after checking on its material performance requirements based on the
- Yield Strength:350
- Toughness:8
- Density:1.0008
- Young’s modulus:12.64
- Specific gravity:2.5
When choosing the material for the ebike components, it is important to take note of the
following:
-Deterioration, which the general durability of the material and Aluminum alloys are not
-Economics, which is the cost incurred in bringing the material to its usable form. The
cost per unit property for aluminum is relatively low and favorable considering its high-
performance index of 100. Aluminum can also be easily shaped aerodynamically which
also reduces the costs incurred as the production making it an economically friendly
choice!
-In-service performance, which is the general properties of the material which makes it
a favorable choice for a certain job. Since aluminum 7005 has a low density of 1.0008
which is its volume divided by mass of the material, this makes it relatively light which is
makes the ebike suitable for racing offering a very lively ride. Another characteristic of
all aluminum frames is their ability of absorb electric shocks while offering the best
comfort. The performance index for aluminum 7005 is the highest compared to the other
aluminum types.
Design of the Bike:
- For the design we used SolidWorks 2016 for doing a 3d CAD model. Parts were
