Performance Standard:
The learner transfers learning by: explaining the need to be cooperative and responsible in today’s
global village; using appropriate strategies to comprehend extended text types; using lexical and
contextual clues to understand unfamiliar words and expressions; using imperatives, prepositions, and
appropriate and polite oral language, stance and behavior in various information-sharing formats.

How would you react if instead of appreciating
the gifts of the past, you received nothing but
ingratitude? I would feel very sad.

B. Analysis
At this point, let us hear the answers from each
group. Students do as told.
C. Abstraction:
Based on the text, how are you going to
describe the relationship of men and His
creator? The relationship of men and God in the poem
is like a father to his children.
What is the message/purpose of the text? The text is all about the relationship of God
and to His children.

Activity 1.
Draw a large flower with a center and an equal
number of petals to the number of members
in the group. Through discussion with your
group members, fill out all the petals with
ways how you can show responsibility to the
world. Fill the center of the flower with
something you all have in common. Write your
unique qualities in the petal. Do this for 3 mins. Students do as told.
