FEEDING THE HUNGRY
For some 20 years, a group of Christian volunteers,
including members of St. Edward the Confessor and
San Felipe de Jesus, have been serving meals to the
homeless and working poor in the Capistrano Beach
area. In 2006 the group incorporated under the
name of Welcome INN (Interfaith Needs Network),
a non-profit entity under Section 501(c)(3) of
the IRS Code. If interested in serving or you want

SICK AND HOMEBOUND NEEDS YOUR HELP
We invite you to become a member of the Sick
& Homebound Ministry. This ministry serves
parishioners in their homes as well as some As-
sisted Living facilities in the area. As a team
member you would be asked to bring Holy
Communion one Sunday of each month to “The
Fountains” in Dana Point. If you are interested
and are a registered parishioner at St. Edward the

Our annual Thanksgiving Day
Mass is on Thursday Novem-
ber 25. We hope your family
can participate in this liturgy
on our national Holiday of
Thanksgiving. Our practice is to have parishioners
bring canned and other non-perishable food items
to the Mass. (see list below). When donating,
please do not give items past their expiration date.
Monetary donations are also much appreciated as
this will help us to provide assistance to our less
fortunate brothers and sisters. Thank you for
your generous support.

Volunteers needed to assist with our fundraiser
for iHOPEoc, Inc., “Til Death Do Us Part” from
Funny Nun productions (Late Nite Catechism).
iHOPE’s latest project is providing warm showers
for the homeless in our community. Next Catholic
Social Justice Meeting: 12/14/10, 6:45p.m.,Church

The parish response to the PFH campaign has been
astounding and very generous. It appears the parish
school and parish will triple last years campaign.
We are still counting coins!! If you have any of the
funny little bottles still unfilled at home please join the
fun and drop off your "ba-bas" to the Parish Office by
11/21.
