Research Questions

This study aims to evaluate the curriculum of grade 9 science among secondary schools in

Magalang thus it is designed to answer the following questions: What is the profile of the

respondents in terms of age, gender, highest educational attainment, position and years in

service, Secondly is to evaluate how the different types of curriculum is visible in the curriculum

of science grade 9. Lastly is to how to assess if the curriculum of science grade 9 is anchored on

the core values of DepEd which is Maka-Diyos, Maka-Bansa, Maka-Tao and Maka-Kalikasan.

Methodology

Research Design

This study will utilize the quantitative and qualitative research method in order to interpret the

gathered data in evaluating the curriculum of grade 9 science among secondary schools in

Magalang.

Respondents

This study will used two set of respondents. To answer the valuate how the different types of

curriculum is visible in the curriculum of science grade 9The first group will be conducted

among the secondary school heads, department head in science (Head Teacher or Teacher in

Charge) and Grade 9 Teachers in the municipality of Magalang . Second are the selected grade 9

students which will be chosen through fish bowl method these set of ____to assess if the

curriculum of science grade 9 is anchored on the core values of DepEd which is Maka-Diyos,

Maka-Bansa, Maka-Tao and Maka-Kalikasan

Instrument

Two set of questionnaire will be used in this study. Self-developed questionnaire will be used in

the conduct of the study.
