GLASSWARE

is a misnomer, an inaccurate name, since all glasses are not made out of glass. There are a variety
of materials used for glassware such as: Annealed Glass, non-hardened glassware, breaks more
easily than other materials, but is a great option when handled with care due to its initial low cost

BEVERAGE GLASS

Tumblers are flat-bottomed drinking glasses. Collins glass, for a tall


mixed drink. Dizzy Cocktail glass, a glass with a wide, shallow bowl,
comparable to a normal Cocktail glass but without the stem. Highball glass,
for mixed drinks. Iced tea glass.

SHOT GLASS

- A shot glass is a small glass originally designed to hold or measure


spirits or liquor, which is either imbibed straight from the glass ("a
shot") or poured into a cocktail ("a drink"). An alcoholic beverage
served in a shot glass and typically consumed quickly, in one gulp,
may also be known as a "shooter".

TUMBLER GLASS

A tumbler is a flat-bottomed beverage container usually made of


plastic or glass. Theories vary as to the etymology of the word
tumbler. One such theory is that the glasses originally had a pointed
or convex base and could not be set down without spilling.

BEER MUG GLASS

neologism for either traditional beer mugs made out of stoneware,
or specifically ornamental beer mugs that are usually sold as
souvenirs or collectibles.

slender and tapered. The slender glass reveals the colour, and
carbonation of the beer, and the broad top helps maintain a beer head.

FLUTE GLASS

A Champagne glass is a form of stemware designed specifically to enhance


the drinking of champagne. The two most common forms are the flute and
coupe.

TULIP GLASS

Much like the snifter, the tulip glass is commonly used for stronger brews,
such as Double IPAs, Belgian ales and barleywines. The bulb-like bowl allows
you to generously swirl around your beer, releasing the full aromas. This is
another type of beer glass that is a popular amongst beer geeks.

MARTINI GLASS

A cocktail glass is a stemmed glass with an inverted cone bowl, mainly used
to serve straight-up cocktails. The term cocktail glass is often used
interchangeably with martini glass, despite their differing slightly.
SNIFTER GLASS

is a type of stemware, a short-stemmed glass whose vessel has a


wide bottom and relatively narrow top. It is mostly used to serve
aged brown spirits such as

PINT GLASS

is a form of drinkware made to hold either a British ("imperial") pint of 20


imperial fluid ounces (568 ml) or an American pint of 16 US fluid ounces
(473 ml). These glasses are typically used to serve beer, and also often for
cider.

The dessert plate is the smaller size plate and will be found in
sizes ranging from 6" to 8". Dessert plates are also called luncheon
plates by some manufacturers and are now being produced in
square and shaped designs.

BOWLS

A bowl is a round dish or container typically used to prepare and serve


food. The interior of a bowl is characteristically shaped like a spherical
cap.
