“Forget It”

Concept Ideas
I had the idea of someone neglecting their group of friends, I wanted to this
idea because of how the millennial generation berates the Gen Z for
spending way too much time on their computer and really gets them to think
about it. I would then have the character HAVE HIS COMPUTER BREAK, AND
HE REALISES HOW BAD HE HAS NEGLECTED HIS FRIENDS AND

Full Concept
He sits at his computer, like he does most days. He receives a text from his
friends, asking for him to come around. He stares at his computer longingly,
thinking about the work he is doing, he places his phone face down on the
desk, the song would begin to get back to work as a short hour passed in a
time lapse.

As this the first chorus of the song rolls in, the group of friends would look visibly
angry, and starts texting him to "never speak to us again". His exemptions
spiral out of control the next day, as his peers and other friends in school start
distancing themselves from him. this would all happen usually in the second
verse.

Next chorus would have him in the woods taking his anger out on trees, the
ground and himself, as he slowly loses his mind. he would begin to stalk his ex-
friends, as they already have a replacement for him, he would lose it
completely. as the song closes to the end he would come home, turn off his
computer and sleep.

Why are you producing this production?

I am producing a music video because I want to create an emotional
connection between the character and the audience.

The emotional discourse that I plan to create with is music video must come
over as believable and also effective enough to provoke a reaction from the
audience, the emotional aspect is the main reason why I’m making this music
video. In previous Projects, I have been prioritising how the film looks, the
effects, the story, the editing, but I haven’t been considering what the
audience think and how they would react to certain situation. The
Phycological genre is probably the best way to mess with your audience,
and by doing this, I can correctly establish an emotional connect with my
audience while still interpreting all of y other visual aspects

Deadline
22nd Final Deadline

Target audience is
25-30 Year Olds

What they want to see

From the research gathered, my target audience likes to see things from their
prime, such as music or objects that would make them reminisce, while also
relating to my genre. What they also want to see is something they can relate
to.

What I have planned, is that my character will relate to my target audience

in the most convenient way possible, having a similar lifestyle to theirs, I have
planned that both of my production will feature two people with completely
opposite lives, but someone how still relate to my target audience.

What you are creating based from that research

I’ve always wanted to focus on atmosphere and emotion, the research. Had
done was fr the object and hobbies that my target audience used to /
currently does. In order to get their psychological trust, I want to litter my set
with things from their childhood to make then click with the mood of the
scene.

The research I have gathered tells me specifically what they had back in my
target audience teenage / childhood years, I could add these objects to my
mise-en-scene to

Where the production will be aired (why – based on target audience)

This production will be Aired on YouTube because it is the most easily

accessible by my target audience, and is also. Vastly used by my chosen
demographic.
