Ask questions about SS daily routines eg: What time do you i) Pre-Lesson (5 minutes) wake up? What do you do after school? What time do you have dinner? What time do you to bed? ii)Lesson Development Presentation (15 minutes) 2. SS open their books to page 8 and point out the words in the vocabulary section. 3. T says the words and SS point to the words and repeat. Say the words in random order and have SS repeat and point. 4. Play the CD and SS point to the appropriate picture. 5. T chooses SS randomly and ask SS to match pictures with correct phrases on the board. Practice (15 minutes) 6. Play the CD again and encourage SS to shadow read. 7. SS describe the two children in the pictures and guess what they do every day (Megan ice-skates and Pablo plays chess) 8. SS answer reading comprehension orally (Refer Reading Comprehension Questions in Teacher’s book Page 22 Activity 1) Production (20 minutes) 9. In pairs, SS answer reading comprehensions in written form (SS book page 9) 10. Check the answer iii)Post lesson (5 minutes) 11. Read aloud 2 TRUE/FALSE statements.
