Royal British College Inc.

History:

Established in 2007, through the brainy ad dynamic leadership of dr. Lorenzo Ku. Royal
British College Inc. has survived the world economic crisis and has now opened its door to new
ventures. A c vocational school which offered short courses, like Care Giving, Household services,
Call Center training, Food and Beverage services, Baking and Pastry, as well as Language courses
like English, Nihongo, Spanish and Mandarin.

Royal British College Inc. opened its door for new opportunity for learners. Last July 2016.
RBC Inc. offered new courses which are the Bachelor of Technical Education (BTTE) and
Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) for college. At the same time RBC is K+12
Ready with the strands ABM and TVL/HE.

Description:

Royal British College Inc. is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and
Vocational Education and Training Programs under the Technical Education and Skills
Development Authority and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). It is located in Brgy.
Marawoy, Lipa City inside the premises of Fiesta World Mall owned by Mrs. Gwen Wong. Royal
British College Inc. offers four year courses mainly BTTE (Bachelor of Technical Teachers
Education) and BSTM (Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management). It also offers Vocational
Courses which is Culinary Arts and Hotel and Restaurant Services. TESDA Short Programs
including Cookery NC II, Bread & Pastry Production NC II, Food & Beverage Service NC II,
Bartending NC II and Caregiving. Royal British College also offers Senior High School to prepare
the students in entering college life with the courses Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Track Home
Economics Strand, Humanities and Social Sciences, Accountancy, Business, Management,
General Academic Strand and Performing Arts. It also offers Scholarship Programs like SEEDS
Scholarship Programs as the official partner school of Jollibee Foods Corp., Chowking Foods
Corp., Greenwich Pizza Corp., and Red Ribbon; and AIM Global Scholarship grants as
ALLIANCE.
Faculty:

Teachers are in a unique position to have a direct impact on their students. Teachers can
see their work in action, see the changes they affect, and in so doing they witness firsthand their
goals coming to fruition. Great teachers do it all. Across all ages, languages, ethnicities, and
subjects, teachers are some of the most widely skilled people around in order to be successful.

teacher, I get the opportunity to interact with multiple students on a daily basis. While some of
these students may be the most frustrating part of the job, they may also be the most rewarding.
Not only do I get the satisfaction of teaching children new skills, but I have the ability to

“No matter what you do, don’t take it for granted. I know many teachers who struggle to land a
full-time teaching position due to a surplus of teachers in certain locations around the world. If
you are given the opportunity to teach, enjoy it and give it your all. When you are a teacher, you
teach beyond the textbooks. You teach children how to deal with their emotions and how to
problem solve. You teach children how to be independent and organized in life. You teach children
what matters to them and what their interests are. You teach children how to have good manners
and how to be responsible for their own actions. You teach children how to apologize to others
and learn from their mistakes/actions. The greatest part is, you teach all of this and so much more
without even realizing it. You teach all of this by simply being an amazing teacher who cares about
what you do.”
Students:

A student is primarily a person enrolled in a school or other educational institution who


attends classes in a course to attain the appropriate level of mastery of a subject under the guidance
of an instructor and who devotes time outside class to do whatever activities the instructor assigns.
We have asked them some survey questions mainly “Why did they choose to study in Royal British
College Inc.?” and “Did you see yourself successful after graduating in Royal British College
Inc.?”
“I chose to study in Royal British College Inc. not just because of the scholarship it offers
but also because of the quality of education they give. I am now taking strand. And I can say that
as day passes by I am gaining more knowledge about many things. As a student, I have the
responsibility for my own education. My success as a student and in my strand is enhanced by an
understanding of a number of characteristics that contribute to success. These characteristics
include academic as well as personal attributes.”

“I want to always be a student in life. I want to continue to learn in everything that matters
to me. I want to continue to be inspired by people and things. I consider myself successful not only
after I graduate but also on my level now because of my ability to get along well with others,
including teachers, admins and co-students. My friendly personality, coupled with my ability to
communicate effectively, helps me establish relationships and achieve results, particularly in team
projects. Royal British College Inc. has helped me a lot in my studies as well as developing my
skills and achieving my goals.”
Admin:

Roles of administrators are to ensure all schools, teachers, counselors, are collaborating
towards a common goal while improving standards and opportunities. Together, with proper
leadership, school systems can meet goals set forth by school boards and foster students that are
highly educated and prepared for their futures.

“Moving to the administrative level was not without its challenges. Being an administrator at that
level is educational triage. You have to make quick decisions with a minimal amount of
information, and you're going to hear about it if you're wrong. No matter what you do, someone's
not going to agree with the decision you make. You're not with all the students anymore. You're
with discipline issues and 'problem' students. All day long. You don't have time to check in with
the rest of the student body. The job overwhelms you. You answer to a lot of people." – Ms. Cherry

“School administrators face unique situations every day. This ensures that the job is never boring.
A leader is an efficient problem solver. They are able to find effective solutions that benefit all
parties involved. They are not afraid to think outside the box. They understand that each situation
is unique and that there is not a cookie-cutter approach to how to do things. A leader finds a way
to make things happen when no one believes that it can be done.”
Facilities:

Royal British College Inc. also compose of many facilities. These facilities help to support
the needs of the student to make them study well. The facilities of the school are comfort room
senior high school building, culinary building, college building, computer laboratory, library,
clinic, and the faculty. Royal British College Inc. has four comfort rooms: two for the senior high
school buildings and 3 for the college building includes for the faculty teacher and staff. Royal
British College Inc. also have a computer laboratory located on the college building near the
faculty office and clinic. Computer laboratory in the school gives the opportunity to learn and help
the student to be literate in using computer. Library is also located on the college building these
helps the student to search about their projects and assignment and other curricular activities that
helps them to improve their knowledge. It also has Clinic located at the college department which
focuses in ensuring the health of the student in the school.
