Subject: Difficult life experiences and impact of war.

Through this very important means of communication, I would like to

express my opinion about the difficult experiences of life, additionally I
want to tell you my opinion about your work “Soldier's home” but not before
thanking you, for your great contributions and writings of literature in the
twentieth century.

The difficulties in the life of human beings are created as people grow and
are problems that are generated by being immersed in a society of divided
thought, different customs, politics or religion. Unfortunately we have not
learned to solve in a good way the difficulties that arise and we have
resorted to violence, fights and war. We have believed that the solution to
the difficulties of life related to work, money, luxuries, fortune, family, love,
travel or business, are solved by ignoring others and believing us with more
rights than others. These false convictions that we have created are those
that are ending humanity and thanks to these factors, we have developed
war, with ourselves and with others and we have been forgotten the
impotence that human beings have as a social subject and as a life partner
in This planet. We have not learned to value others and understand the
mission of each being on Earth, We do not understand the suffering, pain,
sadness and anguish of a soldier when He is away from his leaf, and We
believe that they are rocks and that his function is to fight and winning a
cause that often makes no sense; Your soldier's home story, is an excellent
example to show how war destroys the feelings, emotions and values that
have been taught since childhood.
After reading your story, I can feel a really different world from what I
perceive, since I am not a soldier, I definitely think that your life experience
as a volunteer in the war and ambulance driver allowed you to understand
why the soldiers did not They are the same again after arriving from the
war. Being able to witness the war, generated criteria for you to understand
the life of the soldiers, their thoughts and their character. Thanks to that
experience of war, his story has something special and this is the experience,
your stories in Soldier's home, teach me that only who lives the war can
understand it as it is, and at this moment I can understand why Krebs
changed his mind and its ideologies. Now I understand why He mentioned
that He did not want a normal job, that he did not need a girl for his life
and that He did not want anything that would generate a consequence, Now
I understand why He forgot what it was before going to war and that is a
reason is that the army is responsible for educating soldiers who know how
to kill, destroy and ruin, and force them to forget their family, their friends
and their social life, the army focuses on soldiers to think of one thing (war)
and never give them the space to remember who they are; they fill the hearts
of the soldiers with fear and encasillos in thinking of a single cause forgetting
their family and who they are.

Finally, I want to conclude my letter saying that our context is responsible

for training in behavior, values and attitudes and if we are in a context of
war, our life will be full of difficulties and problems; But, if we form ourselves
in a context of peace, the result of who we are will be much better. I want to
ask you Sir Ernesto, are you the Krebs soldier? Why hide your story with
another character? I ask this, because I find it hard to understand how a
person who is not the soldier can write a story with so much feeling and with
so much reality.

Writing and literary experience are tools that help to express in the
first place the feeling that we fear about a situation, be it good or
as in the case we are working (difficult or traumatic situations),
these aspects serve as a mechanism to release emotions and
thoughts that hurt our body and our mind. Secondly, it is a way of
being able to share with others a situation that happens and to
be able to understand that difficulties have a solution and often
require others to be able to understand what is the correct answer
to our life. To be able to capture a situation in a paper or in a
resource, is to have the possibility of showing the good side of the
situation, to be able to write, is to be able to overcome the
difficulties and be able to start again.

Literature is a symbolic art, which keeps our feelings, ideas,

opinions about something and that lasts over time; It is a perfect
mechanism to solve problems because when a person writes it is
because that person learned to forgive and start again.
Anecdotes and experiences are written and in this way people
are freed from traumas and those difficulties become
experiences, great experiences that people will reflect on and
improve their mistakes.
