Objective (Explicit):
 Students will be able to identify how love is represented in the listed texts and can cite evidence to support
their claim.
Evidence of Mastery (Measurable):
 Include a copy of the lesson assessment.
 Provide exemplar student responses with the level of detail you expect to see.
 Assign value to each portion of the response.

 Students will show that they understand the lesson by writing an in-class journal entry explaining two ways that
love can be shown through actions, two ways that love can be expressed through words, and how the ways
differ in meaning and interpretation.
 This will be handed in as an exit ticket.
