V. RATIONALE:

National School Library Week is an opportunity for school librarians to remind students and
educators of the importance of the school library, including the role it plays in learning and in the
life of the school.National Library and Information Science Month is a way of building excitement in
the library by organizing special events and book -related games.

VI. TARGET PARTICIPANTS:

School Librarian and Book Lovers Club member interested student

VII. OBJECTIVES:
1. To educate secondary students about the importance of library.
2. To entice the students’ interest and curiosity about the library.
3. To promote LOVE FOR READING among students.

VIII. PROGRAM
