History of the Business

Kapampangan's are well known for their passion in cooking and creating unique and

deliscious products. They are combining different ingredients to produce new and unfamiliar

product and sell it to public until it became popular. One of the examples of this is the cheese

bread of L.A Bakeshop. L.A Bakeshop is commonly known as the "Home of the Original Cheese

Bread" because they are the one who produce the first cheese bread in Pampanga. It is popular in

producing delicious and creamy bread that is made/bake as soon as the customer orders. L.A

Bakeshop started off as a simple bakery in 1985 under the management of Bunny Lim and her

family, and it is first located at G5 building, Manila North Road, San Fernando Pampanga.

The Owner thought about how they could grow their money without wasting anything.

Since most of their family members are good at cooking different dishes, they decided to open a

business which is the "L.A Bakeshop & Deli". They are making their products extra delicious

each day because they want their customers to make their purchase on the product worth it and

satisfied. Since then, the customers returned to their place because of the delicious soft and

creamy cheese bread they sell. As of this moment, because of their hard work and good

management, they already have 4 branches around Pampanga.

Make and serve high quality baked goods as the best bakery who invites people with a

warm atmosphere to be able to purchase goods to the costumers.

VISION

To establish L.A Bakeshop as the best premium bakery in the world while maintaining

the compromising principles as it grows.

OBJECTIVES

 Provide goods to our customers to meet their satisfaction.

 To provide customers with afforable products.

 To establish a good relation with the customers for the business to be patronize.

 To sell a delicious yet affordable bread.

 To earn profit.
II. PRODUCT ITSELF

Kapampangans are well-known for their sophisticated culinary creations. Well-known

food products range from the ordinary to the exotic. When you come to Pampanga, there are so

many choices of food to taste for it is known as the “Culinary Capital of the Philippines.” Even

though there are so many food choices, the Pampanga is known also for making the best pastry

in the country for there are so many local bakeries that can be seen wherever you go. There's one

bakery that caught the whole Filipino's eye and now is famous even in National Capital Region,

the place for home-y feel scrumptious cheese bread and Spanish bread that come in boxes and

are freshly-baked: L.A. Bakeshop, the “Home of the Original Cheese Bread”.

If you are a bread lover like myself or are just looking for a simple appetizer to highlight

your meal, this mouth-watering cheese bread will surely nosh your taste buds. It is warm, soft,

buttery, and creamy bread. It could be easily eaten without a problem and can be pair with

anything such as coffee, milktea, juice or just water. Furthermore, the cheese bread is famous for

it is the LA Bakeshop who first discovered it. Some of the local Filipino bakeries are copied the

ingredients and

HOW THE PRODUCT IS PRESENTED

The product is being put in a box with the customer decide color and logo of the business.

It is a packaging that could easily carry whenever the buyer bought it. Each box consist of 30

pieces of bread and it can be either pure Spanish bread that costs P210 pesos, pure Cheese bread

that costs P180 pesos, or mix cheese bread and Spanish bread that costs P195 pesos per box.
III. PROCEDURE

The following steps are the common steps in producing cheese bread.

Step1.

To make dough, mix all the needed ingredients such as: flour, yeast, sugar, salt, etc.)

Step2.

After 5 minutes, put the dough into the roller to make it flat and have a fine texture.

Step3.

Mold/cut the dough according to the desired shape and size. (Note: 1 inch/piece)

Step4.

Roll the cheese in a plate with full of cheese and set aside the dough for 30 minutes to 1

hour.

Step5.

After that, cook the dough in an oven for 4 minutes.

Step6.

Set aside and get ready to put the finish product in a packaging.

WEAKNESSES

 Small space location for the store

 Limited branches

 There’s only branch in Pampanga

 Incompetent Employees

 Poor production of other products

 Products are perishable anytime

 Maintaining a good relationship with the customers

 Cannot provide a parking lot for customers

 Cannot accommodate all the customers due to lack of employees


OPPORTUNITIES

 The costumers are sharing their reviews online to encourage other people to buy their

goods.

 Some broadcasting channel in the Philippines are featuring the bakery, La Bakeshop

 There are many advertisements from famous people and shows.

THREATS

 It has many competitors

 Some of the local bakery also produces the same product with much more affordable

price.

COMMON PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED OF THE BUSINESS

1. Limited choices of flavor of breads to serve because customers.

2. They have competitors around the vicinity that have reasonable price compare to them.

3. Staff problem - they can't entertain all their customers because of the crowded and small

space of the area.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Upon interviewing the LA Bakeshop in regards with the Company Analysis, there are some

problems that were mentioned:

 Limited choices of flavor/bread to serve.

 The competitors around the vicinity that have reasonable price compare to them.

 Staff problem.

1. The LA Bakeshop should be prepared with the ingredients and equipment that will be used in the

production. It should be broad in terms of the customers want and needs like providing the good

qualify of the goods they are going to buy.

2. The LA Bakeshop should produce the same high quality of the bread they are going to sell for the

customers to realize how it was happen to be more pricey than the local ones.

3. The LA Bakeshop should have a strategies or tactics in accommodate all their customers. The

employees should be place to their respective area in order to provide all the customer needs.

4. The LA Bakeshop should offer or produce more products that customers want so that they can

have more customers and gain more profit.

5. The LA Bakeshop should improve their facilities especially their premises to make their

customers more satisfy while eating the goods they bought.

6. Upon expanding the space of the bakery, it should also provide chairs and tables on every branch

they have.

7. The Staffs or Employees should be more train in handling the customers especially in

communicating to them to build a relationship.


ANALYSIS OF THE BUSINESS

Upon making the company analysis of the LA Bakeshop & Delicacies “Home of the

Original Cheese Bread” we came up to a conclusion.

LA Bakeshop & Delicacies meets the satisfaction of the customers for it is growing up to this

very moment. Many customers from different part of the country gives reviews about how they

love the goods of the LA Bakeshop and posting it too in their social media accounts or blogs that

encourage other people to buy the product of LA Bakeshop. Furthermore, even though there are

a lot of competitors in the area, the company still managed to keep in the market with their other

competitors. The LA Bakeshop is a part of growing market. It has many goods to sell so that the

customers may be able to purchase the bread they desired to eat. Even though it has many

problems that’s been faced by the company, the customers never stop in patronizing their

product and every now and then, the company is extending its market to gain more profit and

provide goods to many parts of the country.

1. How did the business start?

Answer: It started when the family of the owner thinks of a business that will be popular and is

affordable. The owner thought everybody would be able to buy bread because it can be eaten repeatedly.

So that's when they started to create unique cheese bread and named their business as "L.A Bakeshop &

Delicacies.”

Answer: Bunny Lim-Santos

4. When did the business start?

Answer: The business started on 1985.

6. What are the mission, vision, and objectives of the business?

Answers:

Answer:

Answer: Goldilocks, Red Ribbon and other bakeshop including locals.


PART II:

1. What are/is the best seller among all of your products?

Answer: Cheesebread.

2. What are the main ingredients in producing the product? (Cheesebread)

Answer: Flour, yeast, cheese, etc.

3. What was the materials/equipment used in producing the product?

Answer: Electric mixer, electric roller, and oven.

4. How much do you sell your best selling products?

Answer: Cheese bread is 6pesos each or 180pesos per box.

1. What were the procedures in producing the cheese bread?

Step1. To make dough, mix all the needed ingredients such as: flour, yeast, sugar, salt, etc.)

Step2. After 5 minutes, put the dough into the roller to make it flat and have a fine texture.

Step3. Mold/cut the dough according to the desired shape and size. (Note: 1 inch/piece)
