Objectives I will use technology to solidify the

concepts of political, social, and economic
changes that were experienced in Georgia.

Technology Uses First, the construction paper and markers

will be used to create a timeline. The IPad
and the TouchCast will be used when
explaining crucial parts of the timeline. The
TouchCast can create little videos that pop
up when you stop on a point to explain that

Evaluation/Assessment (formative and
summative) How will you know that students
learned the objectives and met the standard)
part of the timeline. This is an interactive
way to give a visual and audio
representation of what you are learning.
The Oculus Rift would be used to do
another version of the timeline. We'd use
the Timescope downloadable game. It's an
interactive game that allows you to do
timelines in depth.

Formative: Throughout the activity, I will
interact with students and watch their
progress using the technology. I will ask
them questions about the activity
throughout to see if they understand the
material.
Summative: At the end of the lesson, I will
give the students an end of lesson
"roundup". This roundup asks the student
to summarize what they did today and if
they learned anything new. This shows me
who was paying attention and involved
 within the lesson. Also, this shows me what
I may need to touch on, or if this lesson
worked at all with my students.

Which way would you rather teach this I would rather teach this lesson with infusion
lesson? Minimal technology or infusion
of technology? Why? of technology.

You can still do a lot with minimal technology

but being able to have a high amount of
technology makes it easier to create more
advanced lessons. The infusion of technology
allows the teacher to touch on all types of
learning styles.
