Retailers ready for
holiday shoppers!

CANYON COUNTY — As the weather
turns colder,Canyon County retailers antic-
ipate a brisk holiday sales.
In downtown Caldwell,Story & Co.— a
consignment shop that specializes in wom-
en’s clothing and accessories — has
already seen already seen rising sales in
recent weeks.With the economy still a con-
cern for many local folks,owner Ruth Story
said shoppers are still trying to get the most
out of their holiday gift budget.
“If it’s anything like last year,sales for the
next six weeks will pretty much double
what we normally do,”Story said.
Like other shop owners,Story is ramp-
ing up inventory to meet anticipated holi-
day season demand.
“I’m brining in more stocking stuffers
and affordable gifts like purse holders,

Officials at Nampa’s Best Buy said holi-
day-related sales had already begun to pick

“We’re pretty optimistic,”Geek Squad
manager Steve Reed said.
In Caldwell and Nampa,local stores like
antique shops and other independent
retailers offer shoppers a range of popular
gift items,ranging from books and clothes
to toys and collectibles.Much like larger
retailer chains,many of these shops rely
heavily on strong holiday season sales.
In downtown Nampa,specialty shops
like Pearson’sTwice SoldTales offer an
eclectic inventory of unique items.
With the addition of more merchandise
and two newer businesses inside the store,
part-ownerTirzah Pearson said the opera-
tors are optimistic about luring more shop-
pers this holiday season.
“We’re mainly a bookstore,but we’ve
got the deli espresso and Beyond A Garden,
which offers things like aromatherapy,oils,
teas and soaps — and each of them draws
in a certain crowd,”Pearson said.

I have been using red light therapy faithfully for the last two months. Results
were not instantaneous, however, well worth the wait! As you can see, during
that time my skin has become smoother and tighter. with noticeably smaller
pores. Fine lines and wrinkles as well as the dark circles under my eyes have
diminished dramatically. My painful, previously medicated, psoriasis is virtually
gone, 17 year old stretch marks faded, my dry, cracked heels and feet are soft and callous free like never before and my
