1. Kahoot (Student - teacher)
a. This allows students to play a competitive game to answer
questions. It could be used to review information, and to assess
student knowledge informs of multiple choice and true/false.
2. Nearpod (student-teacher)
a. New way to present information, but also to get students
interacting with information. Quizzes can even be taken on here.
You can brainstorm, making sticky note cork boards, draw, etc.
3. Padlet (student-teacher - parent)
a. This is an online bulletin board when text, vidoes, documents, and
pictures can be uploaded. This can be a spot for parents and
students to get information form the teacher.
4. Classkick (student-teacher)
a. This is a work-space white board. In real time, teachers can see
students do their work as if they are working out a math problem,
or writing our a paragraph.
5. Socrative (student-teacher)
a. This is all about assessment. There can be polls, short answers,
exit tickets, multiple choice, etc.
6. iMovie (student)
a. Students can create a project for an assessment with iMovie to
create a short video. For example, a movie trailer for a book their
just read in class.
7. Flipgrid (student-teacher)
a. Both parties can post video recordings of themselves with fun
filters to respond to a prompt. Then this cycle can keep going.
8. Glogster (student)
a. Students can create a bulletin board/interactive poster as a project
instead of taking a traditional test.
9. GoClass (student-teacher)
a. Teachers can send out lessons to student devices and have them
review lessons and take assessments in an online classroom.
10. Edmodo (student-teacher-parent)
a. This is a home bass to hold an entire class. This can hold
assignments, documents, communication. It’s like Canvas,
Schoology, Blackboard, etc.
