Job Vacancy for Crew

Position: Crew (Maldivian Candidates Only)

Location: Komandoo Island Resort & Spa, Lhaviyani Atoll, Maldives

Summary of Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Crew who can assist the boat captains & the In-charge of the department/Guest Transport
Manager to run the resort boat operation in a smooth effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities:
• Updating Inventory and other paper work and records at all times.
• To be inform and instruct to all the passenger for proper usage of safety equipment’s
• Looking after the vessels and all the equipment in the boats/Department
• Complete ongoing maintenance of the day-to-day operation work of the operations
• Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other departments, as required. Contribute to the moral and
team spirit of the resort by maintaining good relationships with colleagues
• Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of the Maldivian law
• Required to adhere to the standards laid down in regards to punctuality, performance, attitude, team work,
guest relations, staff relations, observance of resort rules, and loyalty to the Management and
interdepartmental co-operation.
• Perform any additional duties or special projects as directed by the Resort Management

Requirements:
• Two years in guest transport department operations in a similar position
• Hands on, practical knowledge of computerized Systems
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Expert in Micros, Opera, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Hotel school graduate or possess a similar level of education
• License in vessel operating would be an added advantage
