 Worked as a “ERECTION & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER” in B fours private
limited, Hoskote, Bangalore.

Nature of Work

❖ Visiting of sites for Erection and commissioning of Hydro Turbine and Synchronous Generator
along with their BOP’s and Auxiliaries.
❖ Erection Supervising of Turbine, Generator, control panel, cable laying, termination and checking
of Pre-commissioning and commissioning checks and commissioning of Hydro Turbine Generator
unit.

❖ Erection of Horizontal full Kaplan turbine inlet casing along with OGA and Runner chamber.
❖ Erection of turbine Rotating assembly.

SANMUKA SUBRAMANYA MINI HYDEL SCHEME (2X5000kW), SAMBOOR VILLAGE, MANGALORE:

Type of Turbine: Pit Type Turbine

❖ Control and power cable laying, glanding, termination and pre-commissioning checks of turbine
and generator and their auxiliaries and did the Mechanical spinning of one unit.

KHANDALERU HEP (2X3000kW) NELLORE, AP:

Type of Turbine: Vertical full Kaplan with Gear box.

❖ Control and power cable laying, glanding, termination and pre-commissioning checks of turbine
and generator and their auxiliaries.
❖ 33KV switch yard equipment pre-commissioning checks were done.

BRAHL TOP HEP (2X2500kW) SHAPUR, HIMACHAL PRADESH:

Type of Turbine: Horizontal 2 jet Pelton.

❖ Checked the Pre- commissioning checks of 6.6/33kv switch yard equipments vize. Insulation
resistance of CT’s and PT’s, power transformer IR values and OLTC operation.
❖ Checked the pre-commissioning checks of TGPLC panel, Line Control Panel, LTAC panel, Battery
Charger panel and Excitation panel.

GURUDITTIWALA HEP (2X1000kW) ZIRA, HIMACHAL PUNJAB:

Type of Turbine: Vertical full Kaplan with Gear box.

❖ Erection and alignment of Guide vane apparatus assembly, Erection and alignment of Turbine
rotating assembly, Gear box and Vertical Synchronous generator.
❖ Control and power cable laying, glanding and termination works were done.
❖ Erection and commissioning of Turbine Governing system.
❖ Erection and commissioning of Gear box Lub oil system.
❖ Erection and commissioning of cooling water system.
❖ Erection and commissioning of TG control panel, LTAC panel, battery charger panel, 3.3KV switch
gear panel and 11kv Transformer cum line control panel.
❖ Erected the 3.3/11kv switch yard equipments.
❖ Both TG unit Mechanical Spinning, OCC and SCC test were done.

Description:

TUNGA MHS is a Dam based power project of capacity 24 MW (1X4+2X10MW) situated near Tunga
dam Gajunur village, Shimoga.The Project was commissioned on june-2014. The Vertical full Kaplan
Turbine units are supplied by M/S. B.Fouress.Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, directly coupled to synchronous
generators, are supplied by U.C.M.Resita Romania.

Nature of Work

Hydro – Mechanical works:

❖ Supervision of Penstock fabrication, welding testing and Erection.

❖ Erection and commissioning of Draft tube Gates with embedment
❖ Hydraulic operated intake Gates erection and commissioning.
❖ Preparation of erection protocols.

Electro – Mechanical works:

❖ Erection & Alignment of Draft Tube assembly, Runner chamber, Guide vane Assembly and Scroll
casing.
❖ Erection, alignment and commissioning of Full Kaplan Turbine, Synchronous Generator
(10MW and 4MW ) with auxiliaries like OPU, Cooling water system, high pressure oil supply and
air compressor system.
❖ Erection, Alignment and commissioning of 75/10T EOT carne.
❖ Erection and commissioning of 11/110 KV Switch Yard, 20MVA Power transformer, Generator
control panel, 11KV switch gear panel, 415V LTAC, 250KVA DG set.
❖ Recently we have dismantled and re-erected and commissioned the 2 no’s 10MW TG units.

RANGANATHA MHS is a cannel based power project of capacity 24.75 MW (3X8.25MW) situated near
Gagana-Chukki waterfalls at Shivanasamudram village, Kollegal thaluk, Chamarajanagara District.
Horizontal Francis Turbine units are supplied by M/S. B.Fouress.Pvt Ltd, Bangalore directly coupled to
synchronous generators supplied by U.C.M.Resita Romania.

PROJECT: Someswara MHS Shivanasamudram (Bluff).

E & M Supplier : B Fouress Pvt Ltd, Bangalore.

Civil Contractor : GDC Limited, Hyderabad.

Duration : March-2007 to March - 2008.

Description:

SOMESWARA MHS is a run of river power project of capacity 24.75 MW (3X8.25MW) situated
downstream of Sri K Shesadri Iyer Power station at Shivanasamudram (Bluff) village, Malavalli thaluk,
Mandya District. Vertical full Kaplan Turbine units are supplied by M/S. B Foures Pvt Ltd, Bangalore
directly coupled to synchronous generators supplied by U.C.M.Resita Romania.

Nature of Work

❖ Operation and Maintenance of 8.25MW Vertical full Kaplan and Horizontal Francis
Turbine, synchronous Generators with Auxiliaries.
❖ Turbine generator control panels, 11KV and 66KV SF6 circuit breakers, 25/35MVA power
Transformer, Field instruments, 250KVA DG Sets, EOT crane and 11KV/66KV switch yard.

Worked as “SITE ENGINEER” for period of one year in ABB Ltd

Nature of Work

❖ Survey of 11KV lines, Transformer location and LT lines

❖ Preparation of drawings and Estimations of 11KV line, Transformer and LT lines.
❖ Erection of 11KV line, Transformer (25KVA to 100KVA) and LT lines
❖ Taking Inventory and Preparation of billing for the above work

Worked for period of one year in 66/11KV KPTCL Substation as “SHIFT ENGINEER” at
Dundanahalli Village, Maddur Thaluk, and Mandya District.

❖ Operation and maintenance of 66/11Kv 8MVA and 2MVA Power Transformers.

❖ Operation and Maintenance of 11KV Vacuum circuit breakers.
❖ Operation and maintenance of Transformer, 66KV Line, 11KV feeder Control panels.
