Chapter I
Introduction

A. The Background

Educational ethics in the broad sense has the purpose of creating an emancipatory generation,
free from liquid retardation and social problems in society that can lead to the joint prosperity
together. Because it is necessary to be a state system or polytical system that govern the
education in accordance with the goals that have been described above.

The purpose of education creates a smart generation, but also has ethics (morals) that can help
him in socializing in society, because that is the idea of ideally sourced over the local foundation
(environment and situation now) with regard to the needs of its people and taking into account
socio-economic motives, culture and politics presented in the situation. So it can prepare
individuals to face the times that will continue to change in the future.

In the top, the thought needs to discuss the ethics of education so that when we become
insane, educated are acceptable by the community.

Discussion
A. The Meaning of Ethics

The ethical term comes from ancient Greek, the word Greece Ethos in a single form has many
meanings: the usual residence, habit, custom, Akhlaq, character, feelings, how to think. Dala

While ethics according to the experts as follows (Abuddin, 2000: 88-89):

Ethics is a science that discusses and critically critically correctly and moral issues about how to
act in a concrete situation, ethics in the form of critical reflection to determine the choice,

B. The Meaning of Education

Everything we say, mind or work educates us is no different from what is said or done

understanding of life is education and education is life.

While the more narrow understanding of education is limited to certain functions in the

C. The Meaning of Education Ethics

and education is very tightly because the ethics are to examine how the right learning is while
the education is human efforts to build their personality in accordance with the value of value in
the community and culturalness, here is clearly mentioned when a person wants to have
education, the person must have a good ethic to be accepted by the community.

D. Scope of Education Ethics

According to Mohd. Nasir Ibn Omar, the field of the Moral Philosophical Review (Ethics) at the
period ranged to the issues: the quantities of the wise and happiness souls, three souls and
their influence on behavior, mental control or soul purificationwear passion to science,
discipline and relationships with the community so that the soul is free from all evil, achieve its
highest perfection and happiness. [4]
The scope of educational ethics does not provide specific directions or strict guidelines for the
subjects, but in general the scope of ethics is as follows:
1. History of human behavior.
2. Ways to punish, judge the good and bad of a teaching or job.
3. Ethics investigates important factors that print, influence and encourage the birth of human
behavior, including human factors themselves, their nature or instincts, their traditional
customs, their environment, wills, ideals, conscience, conscience, motives that drive them,
actions and problems education.
4. When explaining which is good and which is bad. According to Islamic teachings good ethics
must be sourced from the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet

E. Educational Ethics Objectives

The Object of Educational Ethics is any human behavior or actions related to norms that apply in
society, so that it can be said that human behavior, whether observable directly or indirectly,
can be used as material for review, a place of evaluation of the prevailing norms in the
community. Acts become an object when ethics tries or applies the theory of values.

The combination of value with an action produces something called moral or morality. Actions
that can be agreed with ethical values are:
a. Ownings by yourself both in a conscious condition or not.
b. Actions by others can be in the form of suggestions, suggestions, advice, pressure, coercion,
change, or threats.

In the opinion of Dr. Achmad Amin who put forward the action proposed as an object that
considers either by oneself or others based on free will and trying in the mind.

A. Conclusion
The term ethics is accepted from the ancient Greek, the Greek word ethos in the singular has

Ahmad Amin agreed, stating that ethics explains good and bad science, explains what humans

Education can simply be interpreted as a human effort to foster his personality in accordance
with the values in society and culture, thus, however simple a civilization of a society, in which
an educational process occurs or takes place. Because it is often stated that education has
existed throughout human civilization. Education is essentially a human endeavor to preserve
his life.

Educational ethics is an educational process running according to ethics in the community,


because when an education is different from the prevailing system in society, then the
education will not be able to develop even shunned by the community and eventually will lose
its existence.
