Responsible for providing strategic and tactical input for this NGO’s positioning and branding; driving the
implementation of organisational strategy and optimising its effectiveness wherever possible through the
responsible allocation of a budget of circa €400,000 and direct management of 2 Communication Officers.

• Worked closely with the Board of Officers and Executive team to improve the communication of strategy,
priorities and achievements across an organisation of more than 9,000 members
• Liaised with a diverse range of stakeholders on a daily basis to define public affairs strategy and
effectively increase allergy awareness among national and European policy makers; contributing tangibly
to the subsequent launch of the European Parliament Interest Group on Allergy and Asthma
• Managed the pan-European Awareness campaign and coordinated the creation of a National Societies
Committee which facilitated knowledge sharing and improved collaboration between key parties
• Effectively strengthened the EAACI brand by defining and executing impactful and fit-for-purpose
activities across entire spectrum of platforms and consistently leveraging the most effective channel mix
• Proactively identified and analysed member needs, supervised the development and implementation of
appropriate communications and evaluated their effectiveness in the longer term
• Built and maintained positive relationships with media, key decision makers, partner organizations and
other influencers to support outreach activities and optimise the organisations reputation
• Organised and promoted the EAACI Annual Congress, attended by over 8,000 delegates, and a number
