CSA
This document covers the CSA Scope of work and Design Basis for Civil, Structural &
Architectural works for IGS & ICS building expansion project, Koregaon Bhima and is compiled
from Project specifications and related documents.

This specification covers the requirements for

Architectural design
The design and detailing of concrete structures, buildings and foundations
The design and detailing of steel structures (Pre-Fabricated Steel Building i.e. PEB)
Civil works including Civil Piping (only gravity flows)

1.1 CSA Scope of work

The work covered in this section consists of collection of all site related data, conducting site
investigations, design, preparation of all construction drawings, supply of all materials,
construction, fabrication, erection and testing where necessary, of all structures required for housing
equipment and civil works for all services as required for Project completion. The scope will cover
but not limited to the following buildings/structures/systems/facilities.

The brief description of each building/system as followed is indicative only and not exhaustive.
Although almost all the systems are covered here but any other system (Civil, Structural and
architectural) required for successful completion of the project shall deemed to be included in scope
of works.
15.2 Expert Reports
15.2.1 Soil Reports

Not Available at proposed project area.

15.2.2 Earthquake Assessment Reports

Seismic Data: Seismic Zone as per IS 1893 III (Soil Type-Medium)

15.2.3 Explosive Ordnance Report

As the site is located in defined industrial complex, there is no risk regarding the bombs. Also
existing soil is sandy clay till 9.0 m below FGL, there is no requirement of explosives for
excavation and piling. If piling is required, cast-in-situ piles will be used. However piling is not
used in project.
