1. Do you feel totally free as Sartre proclaims? Why or why not?
I don’t feel totally free at all as Sartre proclaims. According to Sartre,
man is free to make his own choices, but is "condemned" to be free, because
we did not create ourselves. Even though people are put on Earth without
their consent, we must choose and act freely from every situation we are in.
Everything we do is a result of being free because we have a choice. The only
choice we do not have is that of having choices. Not only are we condemned to
be free because we did not choose to exist, but we are also condemned to be
free because we are the only thing that exists that has to be responsible for
all of our actions. (UK Essays.com, 2018.)

We are the ones that decides whether or not we want to free. We are free
to make our own decisions. But are we really free? No, for me, being free is
the ability to control every decision I make in my life. To be free from
society norms and expectations. To be free from stereotypes, statistics, and
outside influence. When you stop having something to prove, something to
protect, something to hide, something to defend then you can walk as a free
man. Of course, I can’t do that all because of religion, parents, rules, and
laws that tell me what to do. I can’t even decide for my own because not even
one of all my decisions where approved by my parents. They always had
something to say against it. One example would be the course I will take on
college. I’ve never imagined myself being a medical student. I’ve always
wanted to be an Information Technologist ever since I was a kid. That dream
motivated me to do my best in school. I was an officer of the Computer Club
back in junior high school. I started as a year level representative and
graduated as the president of the club. That was my first step in reaching my
goal. I wanted to develop games, create websites and tour the world to
capture breathtaking photos. Unfortunately, my parents and I had different
vision for what my future would be. I had to take up a medical course even if
I don’t like it and I never will.

As proclaimed by Sartre, everything is a choice. I chose to enroll a

medical course even if I don’t like it. I can never blame my parents because
I could’ve just enrolled what I wanted but I didn’t. It’s not their choice
anymore, it’s mine now. I didn’t like their idea but I still went along with
it. I had the freedom not to follow what they said but I still did because I
thought that maybe it’s God’s plan. That maybe it’s my purpose in life.
However, how will I know that it’s really God’s plan? Does he have everything
determined for us and just leads us to believe that we are free? The truth is
that we don't know, and won't until we leave this earth. It is now up to us
to decide if our freedom is to be valued, and to choose the way we want to
use our freedom. Sartre's main point is that from the moment we are thrown
into the world, we must be completely responsible for all of our actions.
There are no eternal values or ethics that we can base the way we live off
of. It doesn't make sense to use the words "I can't, or I must" to something,
because we ultimately do have a choice for everything we do. When we act in a
certain way, we cannot blame it on anyone but ourselves, and we must take
full responsibility for our actions, even though we may not really want to.
Sartre says that we cannot say that we picked one action over another because
it is what God wanted, or because it was in our nature to do so. The
responsibility is ours and ours alone. Sartre believed that throughout each
of our existence, we must create meaning in each of our lives, and this is
what it means to exist. We are responsible for our destiny and the way we
live is formed from what we make of ourselves.
2. As a human persons what are the wisdoms you gained in studying atheism
and theism in extentialism. Relate it to your own experiences.

I discern what is commendable in my surroundings even if I had my own

choice of believing in One God, it's my lifetime decision to let me discover
what is behind to approach what I came in this life for. That existential
wisdom between atheistic and being theist brought me in most used
propositions why I should choose two if possible although they're unlike in
ones object. The use of media separately assures to me that signs in medias
such as music videos, games, entertainment etc. where I also open my mind and
think of. If they had these symbols they'd gotten from dedication of God I
also question myself how does it take to have a minimum surface on our lives
listening to God. But any doctrine could also support to think ahead of my
belief.

Some politicians don't believe that God really exist in our world. I tried
reading a book of Former Senator Meriam Defensor-Santiago. She stated that
“there is no such thing as your God. However, if you pray for what you want
then therefore ask something for guidance it ended up when we know that we
prayed we are inspired in our daily life basis “Existentialists are more
compromised of atheists than theists.

I think they do believe their own which makes them in free contact to any
aspect of their lives, if they commit any sin it would just include them as
in reasonable matter. Those atheists know that act was free of sin, no matter
how it put them in grievous spiritual consequence. Unlike theists or
believers of God have their doctrines which I myself will follow as a
Christian fellow. In addition to my experiences, superstitious beliefs,
fortune tellers like "manghuhula" don’t seem to have their faith. And animals
that we see as bad luck are just saying. We complicate our understanding
coming from elders' folklore. Existentialism brought us to free our minds
from any people coming from different convergence.
3. According to Marcel, existence is a call for availability with others.
Does it mean that those who are reclusive do not exercise their
humanity?

Yes because, they are running away from their responsibilities. If people
are being reclusive then their life has no meaning at all. They exist for
nothing. We all have our purposes in life. We all need each other to survive.
Just like in our community. We need policemen to keep a community safe, we
need a doctor to keep the people away from sickness, we need chefs to cook
our food, and we need teachers to teach the students. We have different
functions in the society. We are not perfect. There are things that some
people can do and you can’t that is why we need each other.

We should always be there for others. We should always be ready to help

anytime, anywhere no matter what the circumstances are. There’s no reason not
to be available. As a future health care practitioner specifically a doctor,
whenever there’s an emergency I must always be ready 24/7. I should never
make any excuses just to avoid any responsibility. It is our duty save lives.
There are patients that need immediate attention and it’s my job to be here
for them.
