1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background of the Study

Water Refiling Station an alternative source of drinking water supply in the Philippines . the

demand at the water refilling stations – water stores that sell purified water is now increasing . The

quality of purified water conforms with the national standards for drinking water and is even better than

the quality of water produced by traditional water supply systems in terms of removed impurities. Over

the years, as the demand for cleaner water becomes higher, the price of household water purified and

bottle water has become prohibitive . Water refilling stations managed by private entrepreneurs offer a

cheaper and more convenient solution to the public’s drinking water needs than bottled water.

The owner of the company Mitchelle Phiffer Miyahira was decided to open a small business to

gain money for their family expenses so they plan to open a small business with her husband Joemar

Miyahira and they name it Aqua Burst Water Refilling Station. Mary Ann Miyahira mother of Mitchelle

was the manager of the company and also she is the one on casher .

The Aqua Burst Water Refilling Station was started business at June 28, 2019. It is a Mineral

Water Refilling Station that provide water to the people in their Street. The process of the company

according to the owner , every transaction they perform they write it in the logbook the transaction they

perform first buy at the store directly and other option is make a telephone call to make an order to them

then after you make an order it will deliver to them by a motor cycle with side car. They offer 30 stages

intense filtration of mineral water. The business also offers a life time .promo of 10 plus 1. Meaning if the

customer accumulated 10 containers being bought on the 11 container it will be free.

1.9 Significance of the Study

Insert the significance of the study. Be exhaustive.

a) To the Company: Aqua Burst would be able to monitor all of your buyers
faster thereby lessening their workload and providing them with added time
to attend to their function.

b) To the Proponents: The proponents have developed their writing, analysis

and interpretation skills needed to make a good thesis. It will be beneficial
to the proponents by gaining programming language and logical stimulation
and knowing how to eliminate certain problems of a computer system. Due
to stated problems regarding their monitoring in their clients, the
proponents will not only gain programming knowledge but will also propose
a computerized monitoring system. The importance of conducting this study
will be the opportunity for the proponents to test and prove their skills in
software development. They will utilize not only their skills in programming,
but also have to ensure and be sure that their program will be of greater
help and will meet the user’s needs

c) To the Future Researcher: Future researchers who will conduct this studies
this studies will realize that the traditional monitoring of records can be
enhance from manual processing to a computerized paperless system.

d) To the Future Computer Science Student: This study would serve as the
basis in improving the delivery of lessons among AICS students in order to
maintain and develop their skills and their cognitive ability in Computer
Programming.
