Lemony Chicken Piccata:

For our entrees we had the Short Rib Lasagna and the
So Hot Right Now Chicken Sandwich.. Last and Sonia Araujo: 220
certainly not least we had the Apple Croustade for Food was great n service better. We tried items
dessert. on a new menu and everything was delicious.
EVERYTHING was delicious and oh so tasty! Recommended.
I recommend everyone stopping in and trying them
out.

This is one of my fav go tos but this time I
tried the spicy crispy cauliflower bites. I
always wondered how folks could
substitute cauliflower bites for a buffalo
chicken or shrimp craving. Well, they
were sooo good. I would totally choose
them over meat anyday. I need my blue
cheese. Taste like bang bang shrimp. and of
course the chicken avocado egg rolls are
my other go to.

The bartender had better days, lets hope because
she was not enjoying her job tonight. Rude,
condescending and unprofessional are the nice
things I could say about her. Manager was very
nice, server was professional and very attentive.
Then the short rib lasagna came out refrigerator
cold. Worst experience overall, terrible at best.

Breadsticks are not soft and warm. They are nice
and tough. I got the Short Rib Lasagna off of
the "Test Kitchen" menu. I was pretty excited
to give it a shot..... and then it came out and
the portion seemed straight off the kids menu.
The dish picture is literally maybe half an inch
deep by 4 inches by 2.5 inches..... so one small
piece of lasagna for, wait for it.... $15.99! I
expected a nice sized portion to fill up an adult
and this is leaving me hungry and heated over the
cost.

The short rib lasagna was absolutely Nasty
with a capital N. Our tongues were violated. And
the manager agreed. please remove this item
from the test kitchen. Major fail. Luckily the
manager replaced our meals

Tried the special chicken piccata with risotto.
Chicken was not crispy or very hot and sauce
was too generous and pretty much drowned
the plate in butter and lemon juice. Chopped
asparagus stems and capers were a nice
addition. Risotto was pretty much just a regular
rice presentation. Service was fine and the stuffed
chicken my husband ordered was as great as
ever. Should have stuck with the standard items.

I had the new chicken piccata, it was alright.
The rice side was like mush and so horribly
overcooked. My dad had the jambalaya and his
rice was so undercooked it crunched. I don't
know what is up with Houlihans lately but it isn't
what it used to be. Probably won't be going back
anytime soon. Shame too, they used to be really
good.

Risotto had hard pieces of asparagus in
it ugh Spoke to two managers. They
corrected the risotto. Also my daughter
had a grilled cheese and the cheese wasn't
melted.........The manager corrected that
too....however it was the inconvenience of
it all. My family frequents this restaurant
quite often. The regular manager we deal
with wasn't there RAY is awesome. I love
this location and their food usually just not
this experience. The lemony chicken
piccata was good minus that risotto.
Drinks are always good. Still one of my
favorite places.

Ok. So they took away my favorite lemon chicken
fettuccine dish and replace it with a new chicken dish
that is suppose to have risotto with asparagus. Well...
definitely wasn't risotto.. It was a mushy rice mix...
very disappointing... even the waitress thought it was
rice..

I went with the Chef's Test Kitchen special of
lemony chicken piccata. The flavor was pretty
good but the textures were all wrong. The
sauce was a congealed mess and the risotto
was over cooked... but the capers were a nice
touch.

A week ago went with my kids to have dinner.
Disappointed with the service and they have
changed the menu. I always get the Navajo
Pasta when I asked why it was removed off the
menu the response was come back Monday.
Disappointed will not go back to this location.
