1. How do you describe your experience in learning the difference topics in physics?

 My experience in physics was difficult for me but the major benefit of working in
a group for me was that it facilitated learning and enhanced my understanding of
the subject, (temperature). I have definitely learned more about the topic from my
other classmates than I would have if I had completed this assignment on my
own. We discussed each topic in classroom and lab and that helped me understand
more about temperature. We taught each other new things, such as how to use
different equipment for the experiment in vibrating strings and momentum and
how to make stop-motion. Our group met regularly in the classroom to do discuss
our topic and to make sure that we will do it correctly. We had some difficulty on
trying to finish the activity on time, but I feel we work great together with my
groupmates. My group members and I felt free to share our ideas and knowledge
with each other, and that definitely made my learning process more interactive,
interesting and enjoyable.

2. How did you feel about the learning experience/s?

 I feel happy because I learned a lot. The most important thing I learned is how to
approach problems using what we have learned in class. Usually, the hard part is
thinking about what models to use, and how to use them together to solve the
problem. This is the most important thing I’ve learned. How failure in something
can be good as you learn from this failure and move on trying and trying again.
This skill is extremely important and this is what is physics imparted on me along
with the entire course worth of ideas on physics. Fundamental principles. Even
though it is a science you can get creative with it Physics rules my life I’ve
learned how to speak about things (forces, energy, momentum) in a way that I
actually understand beyond a dictionary definition and I’ve been able to derive
things about them based on observation and my own work.

3. How did the experience affect you as a learner?

 The experience affects me a lot and I realize that it’s critical to keep trying and
practicing difficult problems and making mistakes in order to ultimately learn
something important. How to express frustration diplomatically. How to use
resources (teachers) outside of class when I need extra help. How my brain works
and the methods of learning which work best for me. How to fully understand a
concept rather than just memorize and regurgitate it. Other than the basic concepts
of physics and how the world around me works? How to take care and teach
myself so that I can succeed when I am confused.

4. Explain why the experience was positive or negative?

 All the experience was positive because it changes my lifestyle as a student.

Being able to do problems on my own without the teachers help. I was proud of
going into the circle problems with no understanding whatsoever and coming out
with that being my favorite thing. I also am proud of how I have been able to
work with hypothetical situations and solve for values. I am proud that I made it
through the year is all positive. I’m happy that I pushed through problems and
concepts that I didn’t understand in the moment to achieve the comprehensive
understanding that I have now. I definitely see how perseverance in regards to
physics problems can pay off in the end.
5. What you’ve learned about the physics topics as a result of the experience?

 I learned how to find the magnitude and direction of the object and I learned
about the different kinds of energy and how it works. I learned a lot in our
experiment and use different equipment to solve the temperature and the waves of
vibrating strings. I am most proud of how my work behavior has changed, and
where I was at the beginning of the year to where I am now in my understanding
of physics. I am proud of my class participation. Although I didn’t speak up as
much as I should have, I pay close attention and made good use of my class time.
That I start with no knowledge in this class and left with what I feel is a
considerably better understanding of physics.

6. What specific actions are you planning to take to apply what you have learned?

 I can teach my other friends next year here at Adamson University about my
knowledge and what I have learned in physics. Because everyone is unique. Each
one of us has our own idea. Sharing of ideas helps one to gain knowledge. Not
only that sometimes sharing ideas helps ones to find a better solution to one's
problem. Ideas are also shared in the scientific field and it’s because of this new
discoveries and inventions is possible. Therefore, I would say that sharing ideas is
important.
