undertaken by the student during his/her placement with your office, subject to the
limitations of the attorney-client privilege.

Martin’s work has been mainly on drafting and retyping resolutions that were corrected
already. However, he was also tasked to read the draft resolutions and from time to time,
was being asked on his legal opinion about it. As an addition, he was given the opportunity
to cross check some of the citations in the resolutions. He was also able to accompany me in
my court hearings. He was also given the chance to observe on how to conduct preliminary
investigations in the Department of Justice. As days passed, Martin’s performance improved
and was able to finish his assigned task ahead of time. He is a diligent worker, as well as a fast
learner and willing to learn. He was very interested on how Prosecutors resolve the numerous
cases assigned to each Prosecutor

As a government official working for the Department of Justice, I am unable to provide

a sample of a written work made by my supervisee because all of the written works that I
have assigned Martin Regala is highly confidential and has not been finalize as of this
moment.

5. Do you believe that the educational goals outlined in the student’s memorandum of
externship objectives have been achieved? Why or why not?
Yes. I believe that the objectives in the student ‘s memorandum of agreement have
been attained because Martin was able to observe the proceedings inside the Department
of Justice Building and trial courts. He was able to improve on his skills as a writer. Lastly he
was able to do every legal work that I have assigned him to do.
