TOPIC 3 – diabetes village-a lifestyle resort hospital for

diabetes.
AIM :

To design an diabetes village, providing space for the patient to

live with medical team with all kind of specialist related to
diabetes in one place.

GENERAL INFORMATION :

Diabetes poses a major health problem globally and is

one of the top five leading causes of death in most
developed countries. A substantial body of evidence
suggests that it could reach epidemic proportions particularly in
developing and newly industrialized countries.

Indeed,by the year 2025, three-quarters of the world’s 300 million

adults with diabetes will be in developing countries, and almost a
third in India and China alone.

Objectives:

 To design an resort hospital which will include all

specializations related to diabetes.

 to create an place where doctors will walk ,play ,and

also dine with diabetes patients for changing their diet
and make them physically active.

 To provide preventive care in a natural atmosphere

while hospitals are concerned with acute care and
management of complications.
