Project Description:

Nexenta Stor is a Software based Storage system it supports CIFS, NFS and iSCSI protocols.I have
involved in Testing of Nexentastor with SATA based Storage array for NAS functionality and for
iSCSI Support integration. It involved configuring iSCSI initiator and targets in both windows and
Linux environment. The major features I have tested are installation of nexenta, CIFS and NFS
services, iscsi, snapshots and AutoSnap.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Test lab setup by installing and configuration of product.
• Involved in writing some Test Cases.
• Configuring CIFS and NFS volumes for windows and Linux clients.
• Configuring iSCSI target and iSCSI initiator and tested various features of NexentaStor.
• Test Execution according to the plan.

• Used Iometer tool for checking Performance of NexentaStor.

Open filer is storage management and configuration Software it supports iSCSI, CIFS, NFS
Protocols. Testing involved configuring NAS, iSCSI initiator and targets in both windows and Linux
environment and testing all the open filer features.
