Recently, I learned of the Elementary Art Educator position and I am
writing to you in hopes of being considered for the position. I am
currently pursuing a Bachelors in Educational Studies degree with
focus on the Arts and will graduate from Arizona State University next
May.

Every student learns with different styles and paces, and finding out
how each student learns is only part of the fun and joys of being a
teacher. My philosophy in teaching is to focus on student success in an
innovative, safe and inclusive learning environment. As an educator, I
believe that art in purest forms molds the youth’s creative minds to
imagine the unimaginable, and with the passion I have for art, I believe
that I can inspire many children to love art in all its forms.

I am very knowledgeable in many artistic expressions ranging from

painting and sculptures to ceramics and photography, touching on just
about everything in between. My goal as an Educator of the Arts is that
each student of mine that walks through the door have the desire to
appreciate art and all its forms more than the last day. I would also
guide those students each day to gain confidence with creating each of
their own works, whether it be watercolors, paintings, ceramics, or
even pencil sketches.
