II. LESSON DEVELOPMENT

A: WARM-UP/ TRANSITION: (Timing: 4 min)

WARM UP MATERIAL

Capture Ss’ Attention by a video. YouTube

T will engage Ss by show them a video about


the five senses.

B: PROCEDURES (Timing: 12 minutes)

ACTIVITIES INTERACTION
Lead-in:

Body parts review:


T will point to each body part that corresponds to a sense and say: This is
(a nose).
Ss will repeat with T each word and also point to the corresponding body T & Ss
part each time.

Vocabulary presentation:
T will show each sense Picture Card and say the corresponding name.
Ss will repeat after T, then Ss will mime each sense and name it.

T will play the " Senses Walk ": T & Ss

T will taped some Senses Flashcards to the floor.


T will play some music and Ss will walk around the classroom until the
music stopped, then T will say one sense and Ss have to run and stopped
into the sense that T mentioned.

Set up: T & Ss

Activity

T will point to the photos, name the senses and Ss will repeat.
Ss will mime each sense as T mention them.
T will show Ss how to trace a line from the photo of the child tasting to
the corresponding illustration in the scene.
Ss will trace lines with their index finger before they do so with a pencil.
Finally, Ss match the remaining photos with corresponding illustrations.

Ss will maybe not pay attention to the class, so T has to monitor the class as much as T can.
T has to monitor Ss in case they don’t understand the task.
