Smart Village is a licensed VANS Operator supplying the Telecommunications and
Multimedia Services Platform to the Residential Precinct and Commercial Node. A
state-of-the-art Multimedia Backbone, based on a a national and centalised Telecoms
bulk feed, underpins the Smart Village Network, which enables us to offer
Telecommunication and Multimedia Services to our customers.

THE SMART VILLAGE NETWORK SUPPORTS:

Free Interactive Communication between the Commercial Node and the

Residential node allowing the Retailers to talk to each other and the
Residents of the Estate at no call charges.
Centralised TV Signal for the reception of all free-to-air programmes
The centralized TV signal eliminates the need for individual Satellite Dish
and Terrestrial Antennae installation, and provides access to a dedicated
Home Advertising Channel allowing Retailers to market directly to the
Residents of the Estate. DSTV and pay per view TV is easily enabled via
DSTV or set Top Box Connection
High Speed Broadband Access with uncapped Bandwidth on demand.

TELEPHONE LINES YES NO QTY

Smart Village will supply the client with all their Telephony needs. We will handle all applications
on behalf of the client. Digital Handsets are used by our Telephone System. Please specify
the number of lines required.

PBX SERVICES YES NO QTY

Digital Virtual PBX services are available for those customers requiring more than just the
basic Telephony Services. Consultation with our Technical Department is suggested to tailor
your Solution.

LEAST COST ROUTING (LCR) YES NO QTY

Smart Village offers 'Least Cost Routing" (LCR) for all clients running our Digital Solutions.
With LCR the client will save on calls made to Cellular, National and International numbers.
Savings range from 30% to 40%.

2) DATA
ADSL INTERNET ACCESS YES NO QTY
Smart Village offers the client ADSL equivalent Internet Access to their shop. The service
includes Service Provider fees and can be switched on in 24 hours. The account is uncapped
and runs at 1024 Kb/s.

DIGINET SERVICES YES NO QTY

Diginet Services can be provided from our Backbone, all speeds are available. Diginet
guarantees Bandwidth and speed like ADSL.

E-MAIL YES NO QTY

E-mail services are available. Our mail Server is located on-site for maximum speed. Mail

3) VIDEO & TELEVISION

DSTV YES NO QTY
DSTV and SABC feeds can be supplied to your shop. There is no need for additional Satellite
Dish installations. The client is responsible for his own Decoder and monthly Subscription.

STREAMING VIDEO SERVER YES NO QTY

We will supply your shop with up to eight Video Channels streaming 24 hours a day.
Advertising will also be available on these channels for shops that might be interested.

SABC YES NO QTY

SABC will be streamed to all shops. No Antenna installation required.
