Cold Storage Business:

The Total Capacity of the Cold Storage is 750 Metric Tonnes (MT). For the First Financial Year we have to use
50% utilisation i.e. 350 MT. The average rental rates currently in Nashik District for grapes (export quality), specifically
in Dindori is Rs. 4 per KG per month. Grapes harvesting season in India is from October end to March end, almost 6
months. So in 2020-2021 we will have grapes season with annual income for 350 MT is Rs.1400000 per month. So for
6 months we have 14 Lakhs x 6 = 84 Lakhs. In the next financial year 2021-2022 we have increased the storage
capacity to 500 MT with the income of 20 Lakhs/month and 1.20 Cr of total income of 6 Harvesting months.
The other part is of Dry Grapes also known as Kishmish its rental rates are Rs. 0.30 Paise per KG per month.
So if we store atleast 200MT/Month we will get income of Rs. 60,000/month. This is for all the 12 months, there is no
special season for dry grapes as it is a type of dry fruit.
Normally 1 Acre of land yields 10+ tonnes of grapes. So in first year we need 4 Farmers whose area is atleast
10 Acres of land to meet our requirement. In second year we will be needed 6 farmers with minimum 10 acres of land.
Ripening Chamber Business:
Average rate of raw bananas at Jalgaon is rupees 1200 to 1600 per quintal. Transportation, Cleaning,
Cutting, Storage & Ripening requires rupees 100 to 200 per quintal and Selling Rate in Nashik & Pune are rupees
2200 to 2500 per quintal. The significance of this business is that it does not have a specific season. Bananas grows
and are harvested in all season.
