METAL INDICATOR
ELECTRODES
• Metal indicator electrodes are systems that use specific metal
electrodes as the indicator electrode in an electrochemical
measurement.
• Due to the simplicity of the redox reaction the potential for such
cells can be reduced to a simple equation containing a single
constant and dependent on the concentration of the metal ion.
