For-profit Entrepreneur
Carolina Store
It is now owned by Ameliza Argan, the wife of
the son of the prior owner Carolina, the wife
of Acquao. This store used to be small,
simple and not really attractive with lots of
customer. But just this year that it changes its
owner which is Ameliza Argan, they
renovated and upgraded the store that is now
more appealing to the customer. They
renovated the store to attract a lot of
customer and gain sales and profit.

The packaging they used is plastic bag.


Indeed Carolina Store is for-profit
entrepreneur by providing the societies
need through retailing and wholesaling
goods for profit purposes.
Social Entrepreneur
JStore Innovation Enterprises
Owned by Analie Medilo area distributor
center here in San Juan, Southern Leyte.
It since October 8, 2018. They sell for
health and beauty products, such as
herbal medicine and coffee, soap and
perfumes with FDA approved and they
has acquired BIR permit. This business
started only in herbal medicine but now
has expanded selling beauty products.
The main branch is located in Brgy. Pajo
Lapu-lapu Cebu City. It already has
branches in Talibon Bohol, Tagbilaran
Bohol, Danao, Mandaue and Colon Cebu
City, Palawan, Sogod, Baybay and
Ormoc. They give opportunities to people
by offering a job.

They trust one kit of products worth 3800


and remit 3500 in return and automatically
member that can avail 30-40% of discount
in every products he/she buys. They
package there product using customize
paper bag ever since they started.
The social issue that this entrepreneur
helping to solve is the issue in environment
where they don’t use plastics but instead
customize paper bag and paper bag. As
well as giving help to those who doesn’t
have a job by offering to sell the product
with free training how to demo it.

OPPORTUNITY
Jorge Elvin Tampus and Joel De La Cerna
Ocay the ower of JStore innovation
enterprise. Jorge is a chemist while Joel is
an Entrepreneur and both like and has idea
about herbals. They find the opportunity of
there business by looking the social issue of
people who has illness and can’t afford to
buy their maintenance. That is why they
want to produce herbal medicine that is
available to everyone without side effect.

INDIVIDUALIZE ACTIVITY
Joel and Jorge has different kind of job at
first, and they have known each other as
being a member of CF wellness that later
on gone due to miss management. But
Joel and Jorge who doesn’t really like their
prior job decided to put their own business
in the field they are mastered and related
to CF wellness.

ORGANIZED ACTIVITY
After Joel and Jorge develop their
business concept and hired right people
for their business. They organize teams
for recruiting process and networking,
and if the member recruited wants
business rather than just the product,
they will be given a trainings on how to
demo the products and explain about the
system to grow their business faster.
SOCIALIZED ACTIVITY
The branch here in San Juan, Southern Leyte is the example of socialize activity of
JStore for expansion, where they build up leaders to demonstrate the product and
explain the system to recruit members for more expansion.

SUSTAINABILITY
Jstore innovation helps to lower the health issue of the society as well as help to give
opportunity the people who doesn’t have jobs give financial support to the members.
