D TMA 2100 (B1) - AISG

double aisg tma with RET interface

Improving the radio uplink by using Tower

Mounted Amplifiers (TMA) is perceived as
a key method of optimizing radio networks.
By ensuring maximum coverage, including
in-door penetration, the TMA supports
the design of cost-efficient networks with
extended handsets talk time, low dropped
call rates and high traffic billing.

tma design
This Double TMA for 2100 MHz (B1) is 3GPP/
AISG 2.0 compatible with a RET interface. It
has excellent RF performance, small size and
low weight. The TMA gain is 24 dB.

system integration
The D TMA 2100 (B1) - AISG is part of
Ericsson’s TMA family. Power, control and
supervision are provided by Ericsson RBSs.
If sold to other RBS brand installations, it can
be controlled and supervised from an
external 3GPP/AISG 2.0 controller

3GPP/aisG
TMA communication is based on the 3GPP/
AISG 2.0 standard with a RET port for
controlling antenna RET units. The
communication port allows multiple RETs or
Antenna Line Devices, in daisy-chain, to be
supervised and controlled via the TMA.
Future-proof Features
The D TMA 2100 (B1) - AISG is designed for co-existence • Specified and verified as a solution together with
with future complementary, mast-mounted devices. Ericsson RBSs
• Possible to power either via one, or both feeders
Excellent reliability • Built-in 3GPP/AISG 2.0 RET interface
As the world’s largest supplier of TMAs, Ericsson has a • High power capacity
well-proven track record of reliable TMA designs. Reliabil- • Automatic LNA by-pass function
ity enhancing features include dual LNAs, weatherproof • Built-in lightning protection
design, integrated alarm and lightning protection. • Excellent RF performance
• Connectors “in line”
• A range of accessories for flexible site configurations
