Definition of Book Chapter

A chapter is one of the main divisions of a piece of writing of relative

length, such as a book of prose, poetry, or law. A chapter book may have multiple
chapters and these can be referred to by the things that may be the main topic of
that specific chapter.

Purpose of Book Chapters

To divide between some idea and theme that will be explain in the book
itself.

Characteristics of Book Chapter

Chapter can be numbered or tittle or both.

the mall, Busy!, Forget you, We are best friend). A chapter in a novel based
on author’s desire.

 Depend on the book’s theme; if the book that will be writing is about
narrative, the chapter will followed the language features of narrative text,
which is past tense.
