Biodiversity Assessment

This day activity is Biodiversity Assessment in plants. There are eight groups each group compose of 10 members. Dr.

Kitche assigned us to measure randomly of 10x10 in every plot and he told us to do it with 5 plots.

In this activity we list down all species that we will encounter in every plot. Species that is less than 5 cm is not included but

still record the name of that species.

This activity was done by students assigned in Florida Butuan City. In order to know or identified the diversity of the area, we

computed the DBH, basal area, density, relative density, frequency, relative frequency, relative dominance, importance value,

importance percentage, Pi, LN pi, and Pi*LN pi.
