Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Overview

As a key member of the King Technology Inc. (KTI) executive management team, the CFO reports to and
directly assists the President of KTI on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to management of
finance, strategic planning activities, investment analysis and implementation, accounting, tax, legal,
human resources, IT, and organizational administration and support, as well as, to ensure necessary and
effective controls and procedures remain in place to safe guard all KTI assets and resources.

Additionally, the CFO shall have direct communication and support responsibilities to the Chairman and
CEO on matters relating to shareholder relationships such as tax planning and compliance, company
structure, and Board of Directors reporting, communication and follow-up support.

CFO must have proven written and verbal communication skills along with ability to be a proactive leader
and contributory member of a highly professional and motivated management team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Specific examples of key responsibilities to direct and oversee all aspects of the King Technology Inc.
finance and accounting functions includes, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Financial Management and Analysis - Ensure credibility of finance team and function by providing
timely and accurate comparative financial performance reports, analysis of budgets and financial
forecasts and profitability analysis, cash flow planning, and development and management both
immediate and longer term financing strategy and on-going management.

This includes the internal financial reporting systems, overall process and flow of responsibilities to
ensure safe-guarding of confidential information, and the timely and accurate reporting and support of
ongoing company operations and growth.

2. Corporate Development and Investments - Lead financial analysis and related efforts in support of
corporate development and investment opportunities to include as example, M&A activities, by
providing financial evaluations of potential investment transactions, due diligence, underlying
structure considerations, negotiation strategies and coordinated communications with external legal
and related advisers and related support.

3. Development of 5-Year Strategic Plan - Play primary leadership role in the coordination and
advisement in the development of the KTI 5-year strategic plan to include assembling senior
management team input, establishment of key underlying priorities and underlying assumptions, as
well as, preparation of all financial and investment related schedules.
4. Preparation of Annual Base Budget Plan - Play key role in the development and presentation of
Company’s annual Base business planning process and ongoing trend analysis of business
performance. Key examples include support and coordination with sales team in preparation and
analysis of assumptions and projections in development of the annual sales budget, as well as,
assistance with department heads in preparation of annual expense budgets along with key underlying
assumptions

5. Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Investments Planning & Analysis - Provide proactive leadership and
assistance in the development of investment models to provide necessary financial analysis and
evaluation of individual potential AOP investments. Key aspect and role includes inclusion and
integration of approved AOP investments in both the KTI annual Base plan as well as 5-year
Strategic Plan where applicable.

6. Management of External Professional Relationships - Establish and maintain strong professional


relationships with key accounting, tax, auditor, insurance, banks, investment community and other
service providers. Play key coordination and accountability link role with KTI external Board of
Directors. CFO will additionally assist the President in the ongoing support of external KTI legal
relationships and activities.

7. Human Capital and Resources - Assist Human Resource (HR) leadership team with both short and
long human resource term plan development and execution, financial and budget planning analysis,
that will support the ongoing KTI strategic plan, goals and objectives.

8. Tax Planning and Compliance. Manage and coordinate both internal and external advisory services
efforts to optimize the ongoing tax obligations of the company under its current structure and
organization as well as for future ventures and entities that might become part of the KTI
organization.

9. IT & Related Skills - ERP experience with preferred solid hands-on experience in use and
management of ERPs to include skills in team coordination, implementation and ad hoc team support
and trouble shooting.

10. Intellectual Property - Play leadership and support role in the planning and administration relating to
KTI intellectual property assets to include patents, trademarks, etc. to optimize competitive advantage
and protection, as well as, enhancement to corporate market value. CFO will also provide assistance
on product technical regulatory planning, budgeting and compliance as needed.

11. Company Policy and Procedures – Oversee development of company accounting policies and
procedures as defined and agreed by executive management needs to support, protect and optimize
on-going growth of KTI.

Reporting Relationships

CFO reports to the President of KTI while also providing support to the KTI Chairman & CEO
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager and the indirect
supervision of all employees in the accounting and finance department.

Qualifications and Experience

Seeking (10-15) years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
with progressive track-record of professional growth in tasks and responsibilities in a pro-active and
corporate growth environment. Must possess an extensive knowledge and experience of GAAP and
IFRS.

Proven and above reproach professional with impeccable integrity, dependability and strong sense and
desire to work in a faith-based and driven team environment.

Strong problem solving and creative skills in leading analysis, decision making and priority selection and
implementation for high growth opportunities in fast paced industry environment with multiple on-going
investment choices and options.

Proven ability and experience in mentoring and team development. Ability and commitment to
succession planning development and action plans for both financial team and assistance with corporate
wide plans and initiatives.

Travel

This position requires up to 20% travel.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university


MBA and CPA Preferred
