Introduction

A distinct style of gourmet dish is what the proponents are


advertent for. For this brand perception that they establish, they would like to
linger the attention of their buyers and also their consumers with their very own
Gourmet Sardinella and Ukoy Fishbone. Native Gourmet Herring is a
delectable, savory Filipino fish delicacy that can be enjoy in several ways. This
gourmet herring also known as “tamban”, is made from deboned fried herring,

Food is an indispensable part in everyone’s lives. It provides us the


energy and nutrients to grow and improve, be healthy and vigorous, to move,
work, think and learn. Sardinella or sardines, as our main ingredient of our

of sardines provides 23 grams of protein. Another example of its benefits would
be; it helps curb appetite. Sardines help curb appetite by preventing food

content helps promote weight loss because it fills you up. Gourmet herring is
made of fried fish soak in corn oil and spices. It is a healthy appetizer or it may
be viand because it has low-fat content. High and rich in protein, minerals that
makes up your teeth and bines, and vitamins A, B2, C and D. It also provides
high level of Omega-3 fatty acids that plays an important role in normal brain
development and functions. The benefits of corn oil used in gourmet herring

The proponents made this product for the intent of providing their valued

with its nutritional value that they will enjoy not just only for adults, but also for
the young ones.

one of the premier maker of gourmet dishes and if ever, to become a leading
distributor in the country that emphasizes on excellence and perfection by
creating the best gourmet herring and ukoy.

Objectives of the Study

The general objective of this study is to provide viability of establishing a


food product in Bauan Batangas. SImilarley, the following are also intended:
1. To determine if establishing gourmet herring is feasible
2. To recognize the financial and legal requirements needed for the product
3. To give customers different taste of tamban and ukoy that can satisfy
their eating habit
4. To patronize the tamban that is tremendous in Batangas

Scope and Limitation

The study of Gourmet Herring and Ukoy fishbone business is restricted


in Bauan, Batangas and will be based on management, marketing, technical,
financial, and socioeconomic aspect of the business. The product will be
disseminated through direct selling, resellers, and orders are also accepted
from the customers within the Province of Batangas only from those who are
willing to purchase our product.

The marketing aspect covers the overall business condition, competitive


condition, target market, demand, resource, product, pricing strategy,
advertising and packaging. This area confers about the organized questionnaire
given to the respondents and the end result determines the demand and supply,
and for the proponents to know whether their product will penetrate the market.

The technical aspect of the business encompasses product description,


product process, equipment and materials and its plant location. In this area, it
tackles on how the product “Native Gourmet Herring” and “Ukoy Fishbone” is
produced, what ingredients and equipment are needed for it to be done, and
where will the proponents put their business.

The management aspect examines how the business is formed. It also


covers the legal requirements, organizational structure, compensation and
manpower requirements. It is limited to the skills, talents, ability and also
attributes of the workers as well as the number of workers that are needed.

The financial aspect indicates the capitalization, sources of funds, total


sales, total expenses, income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement,
return on investment, and ratio analysis. This area discusses whether the
business if profitable or not. In addition to that, financial aspect shows the
proponents if their business is growing within the next 3 years after launching it
in the market.

The socioeconomic aspect shows the contribution of the business to the


society its economic impact. This area proves that the business existed not only
