DULUX EMULSION
DESCRIPTION Dulux Emulsion is a premium quality emulsion paint formulated to give superior
performance

TYPICAL USES Suitable as a finishing coat for interior/exterior concrete and cement rendered surfaces to
give an attractive, even matt finish.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Composition
Pigment: Lightfast Non-Lead Pigments
Binder: Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion
Solvent: Water

Pack Size: 4L, 20L


Colour Range: Refer to the appropriate Colour Guide
Finish: Matt
Volume Solids: 55-70%
Theoretical
Spreading Rate: Up to 15sq.meter per litre on a smooth, non-porous surface

Drying Information
Touch Dry: 10-20mins
Hard Dry: 1-2hrs

Opacity: 2 coats

Film Properties
Chemical Resistance: Not suitable
Heat Resistance: Not suitable for use on heated surfaces
Water Resistance: Withstands humidity and rain once fully cured

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Method of Application: Brush, roller or conventional spray.

Coverage: Up to 15 sq.m per litre on non- porous surface can be achieved under normal conditions

Thinning
Brush/Roller: Stir well before application by brush or roller. Do not thin
Conventional Spray: Thin 4 parts of paint with 1 part of clean water to aid atomization.

Cleaning Up: After use, remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning with
water. If you have left over paint, dispose of it responsibly.
SYSTEMS AND COMPATIBILITY

Stir thoroughly before use. Seal new or bare surfaces with appropriate primer. The normal finishing process is 2 full
coats of Dulux Emulsion.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surfaces must be clean and dry before painting. All surfaces must be clean and free from grease, oil and other
contaminants. Remove all dirt, grease, flaking paint, loose surface powder. Where necessary, wash the surface to
remove dirt, grease and powdery or dusty residues. Rinse with water and allow to dry. Kill fungi and algae with
CAP Biocidal Wash. Repair cracks, holes etc. with appropriate filler.

Storage and Transportation:


Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place protected from moisture, away from sources of heat, ignition and direct
sunlight. Containers which are opened should be properly resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not use
or store any paint container by hanging on a hook. Store separately from oxidizing agents, strongly alkaline
materials, strongly acidic materials, amines, alcohols and water

To prevent spillage, store and transport upright
